I removed the gray tank sensors, and installed a new set of Horst Miracle sensors. The 1/3 level had a piece of crud stuck to it, and the Commando tank cleaner didn't quite clean it. While testing the new ones, I discovered the 2/3 and full sensor wires were switched. Been that way since new. No wonder it showed full so soon! All better now..

Dropped her off to have the front cap re-painted for the second time. Good grief.

Wow, nice feature. The more you fill it, the lower it reads!

Installed a WiFi and cellular antenna on the roof. I must admit, I was very nervous drilling the hole in the roof... I also ended up disassembling a good chunk of one of the bathroom cabinets to retrieve a flashlight that I accidentally dropped down the wire chase while fishing the antenna wires. On the bright side, I got to check all the wiring in the chase and behind the basement wall that also had to be removed to retrieve the flashlight.

Discovered over half of my outside marker lights showed signs of potential water leakage. I resealed all of them with dicor sealant.

Bought two of those anti-gravity recliners on sale. No more watching fellow campers relaxing in style. We can join ‘em!

new flooring

Found these 1/2" thick 2X2 jigsaw type floor mats.
The carpet and vinyl were looking a little dingy, being 16 years old they were in pretty good shape.
Removed the old carpet, no signs of any water entry a big plus.
The mat pieces fit together really well, cut easily with an Olfa knife and lay flat without any glue.
Having laid floors for a living when younger it was pretty straightforward to cut them into fit the contours.
They are very comfortable to walk on, give a little. They help insulate the floor, much warmer than the old vinyl, and they clean up easy.
The beauty of being fit in place is that if one gets damaged it's a no brainer to replace it.
Sorry the pictures are sideways, couldn't see a way to rotate them.

It was very strange the way it read on the monitor panel. It read "Full" at the actual 2/3 level in the tank, but the "2/3" light was also lit, even though the water wasn't touching that sensor.

It'll be nice to see if these Horst sensors remain accurate from now on. An update will follow in 8 years! Lol!

Installed an Oxygenics Fury today. Haven't had a chance try it out as the FW is under our 3 sided cover and would be a pain getting water to it. But wow, the hose is looooong!

Cleaned our little 195 RB. 200 miles of travel on potholed logging roads got dust in every" nook and cranny"( thinking of aiming the shower hose at all the interior!). Travel speed avg was about 5 mph in some places and 40 on wide open dirt roads that are maintained. Not all the roads are maintained! So this little unit is truly a rolling earthquake.

Tomorrow will be a rebuild of the dinette system..After 120,000 miles the seats fell apart.

Staples aren't strong enough.. Now building with stronger frame and screws.

Made a Sunbrella cover to keep sun off front cap

I had a Sunbrella cover in the attic from a trailer we sold so decided to make a 'bra' for the front of our 2018 28.5 RSTS. It has started fading so thought a cover might stop it from getting worse. I sewed in a strap that goes around the camper right behind the cap/roof intersection. It has stayed in place in the winds so far!

Cool! That's what I need to do. I polished our cap and it looks 10 times better than it did, but not sure how long it will last. Fortunately we keep ours under a three sided cover, but it still gets morning sun on the top. After our house sells we will be living in it until we can find another, so I'm stressing it's going to look like crap again in short order.

Kitchen Cabinet Pullout Slides

One of the pains with our 2018 28.5 RSTS has been the kitchen storage cabinets in the kitchen slide out. When we wanted to get something from one of the cabinets we generally had to get down on our knees with a flashlight to find it. A couple weeks ago I decided to put pull-out baskets in all three cabinet openings. The two cabinets towards the back of the RV were easy because a CloseMaid one fit in each. https://www.homedepot.com/p/ClosetMa...3052/100123813

The cabinet near the door was tougher because I couldn't find anything to fit. So I purchased full-extension slide extensions for less than $20 and built a frame and drawer to put them on.

Sorry but I didn't take any photos along the way but here are a couple photos of the finished cabinet pullouts.

Now that is a good idea I think that I will put this on my list to do. So that mean that I would have to get to my tank, hmm seem like an rough job.
