Robbed one of the propane cylinders off the TT to replace the depleted one on the gas grill on our porch.

A week ago Tractor Supply refused to refill my 10 year old 30# propane tank. I was pretty sure that 12 years was the actual period, but I told him thanks anyway and went to another place that never checks the date.

Yesterday I called around and found a place that recertifies tanks for $10. When the next one empties I'll take it there for recertification.

You could revalve the bbq and then hook it up to the natural gas from your house. You won’t have to worry about propane tanks for it again.

I had that trouble before too. I had one tank that didn’t pass the test to be recertified. I went to a gas station with those prefilled tanks. You just swap your old tank for a new one that’s full. You get a new tank that’s good for many more years and your propane that you need. Next time you go back to any place you like and have your new tank refilled.

Finally got a break from the rain so pulled all the hubs and inspected/repacked the bearings, inspected the brakes/tires and greased the MORryde CRE3000 suspension. I did find that one of the grease seals was leaking though fortunately not too bad and the CRC Brake Cleaner cleaned things up nicely.

Then hitched up for a 50+ mile run to check things out and get the lug nuts properly torqued. This was also the first trip out with the new EEZTire TPMS - really nice to be able to reliably monitor the tire pressure/temps in real time.

Unzipped the cover, and went inside to check on the Dri-Z-Air, and make sure I ordered the new 9 blade bath fan replacement, rotating the correct direction. Got lucky.

Gave Little Sister a bath. Removed the built-in water filter. That has to be one of the stupidest places to put something. Sanitize water tank and lines.

Did you completely eliminate the whole house water filter? Wasn't it in the wet bay?

Lawsons Landing ( tomales Bay ). Monday thru Thursday the weather was great. Friday the wind kicked up but we were leaving anyway. The fishing wasn't worth a dang, but the Dungeness crab and I got along pretty well!

It was a nice day so we uncovered the TT today. Can’t wait for April to get here. The first pic looks so much better than the second one.

Noticed some of the sealer were the front cap meets the sides had some cracking an or small holes in it. I painstakingly cleaned an caulked both sides.
Discovered center support board underneath the plywood for the bed had pulled the screw through the plywood. Using screws I use to make furniture I not only fixed that but added about 20 more to the 3 supports.

Little Sister is our Redhawk 24B. It doesn't have a wet bay. The water filter is inside and under the cabinets in the back. You have to remove the drawer and stand on your head in a very small area in order to get to it.

Good idea; but I'm about 12 miles from the nearest natural gas pipeline. Plus I live on a private "camp road", so I doubt I'll see natural gas on our road in my lifetime.

My house is currently 100% electric. I'm considering adding a bulk propane tank, then converting my 9500 Watt portable genny to burn propane. Bulk propane tank could also be used to run the BBQ grill, Blackstone griddle.
Could also install some propane fired infrared heaters for the porch and maybe bury a propane line to supply the RV.

It only takes money.

That's pretty much what I do. When the 20 pounder's hydro expiration date is near, I feed it to the nearest Blue Rhino (our area's pre-filled tank vendor) and get a current tank from them.

A 30 pound tank is another matter. I've never seen them at a pre-filled tank vendor.
Luckily my 175RD uses (2) 20 pound tanks

That sounds like a pretty good plan

Zinus 8" Memory Foam Mattress Hummingbird

Just unboxed my new Zinus 8" memory foam mattress. Took the box to the camper storage lot, and woke the 17FD H-Bird from its slumber. Old Simmons Residential Sleep System exclusively for Jayco is now in my basement. Would anyone buy this old one? Not hacking Jayco at all. I think bad mattresses are industry wide. I actually never have slept in the Bird yet. It just flew home this January. From what I have read on forums, it was just better to get it replaced ahead of time.
