Should have noted, the pvc for the table cup holder is just plain old 3 inch and fits like a glove. Your results may be different. When I looked on line at seat tables I almost had a coronary when the prices showed themselves.

You provided a bunch of feasible upticks. Thanks for the post.

I happen to have a bumper mount receiver that I think I'll use like you did for the ball hitch. Couldn't quite figure how your hangers for the W/D bars might have been made or attached. Do you happen to have a couple more pics giving a better look?

Thanks and be safe out there -

I purchased some cheap ($2.85 per pair) metal j style coat hooks at Home Depot and using the supplied screws attached them to each side of the 'A' using spacing that accomodates hanging by the chain and the trunion pivot resting in the other 'J'. My set up is a Reese W/D so all fit well using what I found at the big box. Tractor Supply has some sturdier stuff to pick from, but I had already done the deed and at this point no reason to change.

Just coming back to post a photo of my rig nice and level behind the truck..... Towed wonderfully on the trip up here to upstate NY. Even in winds / rain we drove through.

I'll start a thread about it with some additional photos when I get better web access.... The campground wifi here is about as slow as the gestation period of an elephant....

I bought some project foam and created my own ac airflow diverter to make it more efficient. Thought I’d try this before either buying one for $170 or a 2nd ac for $800 (not installed).

Surprisingly this actually do make it push much more air thru the vents…. I have no way to measure cfm’s but I would say close to double the output…. Hope this helps get us below 80 on 95 plus temp days.

I’ll know in a few weeks during the next camping trip.

I thought about cleaning the fridge. Didn't do anything but I thought about it!

Well, we are back from Caprock Canyon. Beautiful campground but under water boil because of freeze damage earlier this year. The Dometic Brisk Aire II 15k btu ducted A/C got its first trial with shroud cut out and RV Air installed. I believe results speak for themself. Previously managed 20-22 degree drop from ambient.

You say "Ducted".. does that mean you have zero access to the AC unit from inside the RV? If so, your RV Air unit got installed from up on the roof?

The skirt is just like it was from the factory, but I did a full body lift on the 5'er.

Maybe these will help.....

Ducted means the bottom plastic filter frame and air distribution box come off, and there are two ducts down the length of the tt and (usually) four or five air outlets along the length of the tt. In my case-front to rear, there are outlets from the duct in the bedroom, bath and front of living room on street side. On curb side, one outlet over sink, second one at rear about 8 inches from rear cabinet. The air is blown out of a/c unit into ducts on either side, and out into respective area.

I follow you. Mine is ducted as well, but I do NOT have access to the bottom of the unit/nor where the ducts meet from inside my RV.

Where is the air return/air filter? How was it mounted to begin with? Questions, questions, questions...is it mounted over a 14x14 hole in the roof?

I watched a video the other day where someone installed the rv airflow system from the top and it worked just fine.

I added a shelf to each of the bed side wardrobes in our fiver (25.5REOK). They should come standard.

Did the quickest wash ever after 10 days on the coast as we are under water rationing. Felt a little guilty but I don’t want to leave salt spray on it. Plus we weren’t home using water so we shouldn’t go over our allotment. Drained the WH and water lines, flushed and drained the tanks and returned it to the RV yard for the mobile tech to come fix the furnace tomorrow. Can’t wait to go again.
