Unfortunately, we are unable to provide the details of DOT to the customers because warehouse won't be able to check the dates on Individual tires and we stock tires which are up to 4 years old from the date of manufacturing, which is within the industry standard and considered as new Tires.

Got the 2 new shoes delivered today. Date codes show 01 & 02 of 21. I can live with that.

Whew! Good news! I took the DW’s SUV in for new tires yesterday at America’s Tire. Checked the DOT code on the way out — they were 2621. Any fresher and they would still be cooling from the mold. I really do like my America’s Tire.

Are they just like Discount Tire? What kind of tires did you get?

Yes, they are Discount in some areas, America’s in others. I replaced the Bridgestone Dueler Sport HP A/S with the same as they’ve performed well for us. They matched Costco’s current sale price and I was in and out (with an appointment) in 35 minutes. And they were less than $150 each.

Replaced 'factory' shower head with Oxygenics/ ETL 92789 Fury since the shut off valve has seized.

Over the weekend, removed and replaced lap sealant around bathroom skylight, installed a WeBoost folding marine mount (with 1" male thread to receive the adapter) on roof to raise/lower the WeBoost Reach RV outdoor antenna on a 5 foot pole (1" pvc pipe, cap and 1" female thread to 3/4" slip adapter) and added a fan for the refrigerator.

Replaced the bathroom vent fan (old Ventline version) w/ Fan-tastic vent fan model 7350 w/ remote. Wasn't to bad of a job since the RV is less than two years old the Dicor lap sealant and Butyl tape removal was fairly easy...pulled most of it up with the fingers and a rigid plastic ruler...however, the new fans internal shroud was not tall enough so left a small 1/16 inch gap ... will see if company has a longer internal shroud to replace it...fairly quiet on the slow settings... on the high setting, is a little loud...remote works well...however the lid lifts a little too high for the vent cover that we have....but will live with it...

Have an appointment for 8 a.m. this mornin for new tires. Original tires are about 3-1/2 to 4 yrs old not sure of mileage. Headed to Darlington end of this month an I don't want to chance it with the existing tires.

Spent the first hour at our new campsite trying to fix a spewing water leak at the pump that my mobile RV tech “fixed” two weeks ago. It is where the line comes out of the pump, which we don’t use. But the back pressure from city hookup made it leak at the pump fitting. He replaced the fitting (figured a bad cone washer) but only tested it by running the pump with virtually no water, so no real pressure.

When I hooked up the city water here, I find water spraying in the pantry and dripping out under the TT. #@*&$#. Retightening the fitting with Teflon tape didn’t fix it, so I finally MacGyvered it by cannibalizing a braided hose with a shutoff valve on the end that I use to drain my WH. Temp fix for this trip and until I can chew out the tech when we get home.

I broke a leaf spring on a long trip to New England at the beginning of the month. This week I replaced the 3 other leaf springs (preventative maintenance) and installed wet bolts in the suspension. It was hot and humid, but generally a straightforward install.

Thank you guys we love it but now when I get a chance I have to stain it a little darker, my chance is going to be this week probably, maybe, we do have a church function coming up this week so I might or might not. I guess that I can go out and take it off and buy the stain at least.

Been trying to get a reservation for the last 10 days at Topsail SP in FL. with no success. This will probably be the 1st year (next year 2022) that we don't go in the past 7 yrs. To me, the new FL reservation system seems harder than the previous. I'll have to spot check for cancelations...my issue is that the in-laws have always stayed at one of the cabins during the same time...they ARE NOT staying with me!
