Installed a 6 inch flip foot jack on the tongue jack and got 4 new wheel chocks. Drilled a hole in the rubber chocks and hooked them together with a piece of rope to make it easier to pull chocks when packing up. I wouldn't have been too concerned with the chocks but the instructions that came with the flip foot said to make sure to chock both sides of the trailer before lowering the jack. Love the flip foot, tucks up nicely when stowed and lowers quickly saving time when unhitching.

I stared at it in the driveway... I'm still not even allowed to climb a ladder to wash it

Installed a Blue Ox BXW2003 on our 2021 330rsts. It’s rated at 2000/20000 lbs! Rv dealer sold us the 1400/14000 lbs equalizer and I liked it but it seems to me the 1300 dry hitch weight would be eclipsed as soon as we loaded up! Also installed the 2700/20000 lbs receiver 45511 Draw Tite on the truck. I think I will be a lot more comfortable towing with this!

Installed new motor assembly on the rack and pinion slide. Keeping the motor portion of the broken one as a spare in the trailer along with my spare leveling jack motor.

Figure the best way to test the slide(storage is too tight) was to pull it to Buckees for some banana pudding. You Texans will understand. Works as it should.

Self Inflicted Blow Out

Last Wednesday we left Santo, TX heading to Livingston, TX. About 10 miles into the trip my TPMS alarm went off indicating my driver side front on the 5er was leaking air. Pulled off the interstate and checked it and it was definitely low. Wiggled the valve stem and heard a hissing so assumed it was the valve stem. We were about 10 miles from a Discount Tire store so I limped in with only about 40 PSI in the tire. They got me right in and diagnosed it as the valve stem. Replaced the valve stem (no charge) and we were on our way again. About two hours into the trip and my TPMS alarm went off again. This time is was a blow out!! Apparently rolling on that tire severely under inflated broke a cord or two and it went down hill from there. Lesson learned!!

Nice! Like a Subaru: Dog tested and approved!

Sorry about the time, but glad you had the TPMS! I won't travel without it. On our last trip out we had two flats, both because the valve stems blew out. The TPMS is the only way I knew we had a problem. Destroyed the first, brand new, tire because we had to drive about 2 miles to get to a safe place to replace it. Second tire survived because it was only a couple of hundred yards to "safety". We now run metal valve stems.

Put clean sheets on the bed, swept the floors and put things away. Hopefully will take it out soon.

Just returned from a couple weeks in TN. Hard on the trailer...today had to fix where the awning pulled from the track, locate a new wheel well fender (still haven't), replace a burned out marker light, order battery box strap to replace one that disappeared somewhere between home and there, and order a tube cap for a flex hose holder that also disappeared on the drive. Then there's the usual and customary cleaning the outside.

Found that the awning wasn't retracting correctly. Arms would bind on the way back in. Fond two bolts pulled through the front aluminum mounting bracket against the trailer.

I put washers behind them for now. Still not happy about how it is rolling back up.

Next chance we get, we also need to sew another section of the awning lights back on.

Added a toilet seat riser. DW had an ebike accident last Sunday. Broke both wrists, compression fracture in L1 spine. Shes in casts with new steel hardware, and a pull cord brace on spine which works fabulous. After a week, She’s on the mend but this riser is definitely a winner. Just sits right in on the Thetford Aqua Magic II.

Not a riding fall, but stationary getting off. Off on a slight incline and forgot to engage brakes in the process.

Thanks very much, also! I do hope we get to ebike together again, someday. But it’ll have to wait til she heals. But she really likes that toilet seat riser, for the time being. Fits perfectly. Easy on and off.

So sorry about your wife's mishap. I can relate to both of her injuries. Surgeries for both instances, so keep her safe, and do what the Doc says. We'll pray for a speedy and painless recovery.
