Thanks very much everyone for the prayers. And yes, being in an rv with her back and wrists condition is doable! But staying put for several days after surgery helped her gain needed strength to travel back to our home away fro home doctors. We’ve done 3 straight travel days and I’m amazed at her mobility at times.

Went and looked at it at the dealer today. It has been there all summer.

Lessee,

PA State Inspection, Repacked all my bearings, Replaced all the brake assemblies.
One brake shoe was just barely passing inspection. The rest were about 1/2 way worn. BUT, I was told it is better to replace all of them rather than one. The one that was really worn down may have been sticking a little and thus rubbing.

Finishing up replacing the trim on my entrance door. It was banged up from 11 years of use. I had to remove it when installing the steps. I had a hard time finding the trim and had to do a McGiver to find something and modify it to fit.

Hopefully a thread with pics when complete.

Just finished adding some HD magnetic draw catches to beef up the holding power and prevent draws from sliding out when cornering. Getting ready to hit the road in a week from now.

Living in AZ it's difficult to do much of anything after 9 am. Have got into the habit of washing and waxing the front and one side one day, back and other side the next. Yes it takes more time as you're always going to wet the finished part but doesn't take took much to dry that off.

Put new shoes on the 5er. Replaced the Goodyear Endurance with another set of the same. Born 12/2021. I ran my first set down to 2/32 in 19,000 miles.

Has anyone added a hot water heater booster to their hot water supply? I have a 5 gal hot water tank and run out of water for a shower from time to time. Our RV is set up on an annual site in Florida so adding something like this would be fairly easy to do, I believe.

5 gallons seems a little small for an annual site. Have you tried looking at an On-demand water heater? They can take a little getting use to, but sounds like that one would work for you fairly well.

Good luck and be safe -

I agree 5 gal is fairly small. We manage to get by with it but a few more gallons of hot water would be nice. The hot water booster, I believe is fairly easy to add to the RV heater and basically is an on-demand water heater that could be added in series after the RV heater.

Hobbled around on my aircast and cleaned up the front passthrough, making sure it was organized the way I like it...

Is there actually a color code for Jacobs wiring schematic for the thermostat because they don’t match the standard HVAC

Hooked up our new Pinnacle to the truck, put out 4 orange cones in the open field at the farm, and we practiced backing up at different angles, lol. We were supposed to make use of a set of cheap Walkie Talkie radios, but she had them under the bed. remembered after we put in the slides and closed her up. Cell phones to the rescue.

Flushed out the WH tank, then sucked what was left in the bottom with my handy dandy Harbor Freight hand pump. Left the nylon plug out so what little residue is left should evaporate with 105* temps forecast for the next three days.

Just opened the boot and took the battery charger out to use on the pick-up. It is dead until dealer looks at it.

I've been testing a couple different "hidden" locations inside the trailer to install the Trak-4 GPS tracker. Did the final mount of the device in the space where the factory solar wires are behind the front cap. Since I have no plans at this time to use any solar on the roof I tapped the factory solar wires for my 12v. I included a 2 amp fuse and a on/off button as well since the 12v I tapped into doesn't go dead when the battery disconnect is turned off. The internal battery of the device is good for at least 12 months with just a daily report, and 2-3 weeks at a 10 minute interval. I have it set to report at 10 minute intervals when moving and daily when stopped. It will also alert me when the battery drops to 20% so if I've accidentally left the power for charging off it will eventually let me know.*

Started to prep for the long slumber. Washed the roof, for a start.
