Had some rain yesterday, so I opened the awning to dry it out. Also installed my new Flip Jack Foot on my tongue jack.

It was 65 degrees on Saturday. Warmest day of the year so far, so I went to the storage lot to check out the trailer, which I had not gotten in since before Christmas. No mice! Yeah!!!

As I write this Monday morning, it's snowing again outside. Spring was here for only a minute. Now back to our regularly scheduled winter. Hopefully it will warm up enough for our first trip of the season in just 5 weeks.

Took it in for a bearing pack and four new tires. It’s a great shop — they checked things overall — roof, brakes, etc and lubed the wet bolts. I debated on the tires as the OEM GY Endurance still looked good. But they were five years old and endure some pretty hot weather here. They had the same price for GYE’s as America’s Tire, so figured I’d go ahead and do it now. Yeah, i checked the date code — mid-November 2021.

Also had them put on metal valve stems — I’m debating whether to pull the trigger on a TPMS system. In case you hadn’t deduced, I’m not much of a gambler when it comes to my TT.

Purchased a 2022 34 RSBS in January and finally brought it home on Saturday. I’m working on reinforcing the shower floor so the flex doesn’t damage the plumbing under it like it did in our 2019 Jayco. Then I’ll reinforce the bed platform and build an insulated wall under the bed between the inside and outside accessible storage. Next is reinforcing the framing under the bed as it’s only held together with staples. I’ll likely use steel corner brackets for this. Once the structural work is done, I’ll start on the functional mods. Unfortunately after all these years on this board I still don’t know how to post pics. Sorry.

Moved it to the new concrete slab we poured when we planned to buy it. We also put in rv electric service there. There was already a hose bib and sewer access a few feet away! We're all set!

Installed my three new Renogy 200AH LiFePO4 Bluetooth batteries in a space I opened up in one of my over-the framerails compartment pass-thru. Shielded from weather and installed on rubber mat to (hopefully) reduce any road shocks. The batteries sit on a fabricated aluminum plate with 2 12-volt holding tank heaters controlled by a programmable thermostat to help keep the batteries warm for charging during winter excursions.

Next up is fabricating the cables to my Victron Lynx Power In box, installing the Victron shunt, and connecting new wiring to my inverter and house circuits.

Do you have solar panels to keep those topped off?

Curious about your vac choice. I have new to me 2001 Designer 3150s and need a vac (battery powered).

I have 2022 Greyhawk 29mv and was getting it ready for trip this weekend and found a round plastic peg in floor. Found out it was broken off where it holds bathroom door open between shower and bathroom. I call this a Mickey Mouse rig. I ordered magnets and put them on and they are great!

Had some nice weather today so flushed the antifreeze out and put the water filters back in place. Also check the propane system for leaks and tested all the appliances. First trip of the season is coming up in April - a week of dry camping with our youngest daughter at Red Rock Canyon outside of Vegas.

Wow. It looks like your trailer came through fairly well considering the situation.

Hung the Ryobi Link system in my passthrough

it took some doing. I needed to reinforce the panel with some thick plywood. which worked great, btw.

https://www.ryobitools.com/products/details/33287195787

It's not very tidy right now, but with the plywood backing and a small 'L' bracket screwed to the frame it is rock solid.

the next step is to wire an outlet to the passthrough so I can hang the changer and keep the batteries topped off.
