This was at storage. I’ve been broken into before on a previous trailer. Thankfully on this one they didn’t work at it too hard.

Added some Dicor to a few spots on the roof then Washed and waxed The Whole rv to get ready for winter.

Also applied a product called SC1 on my front cap. Dirt bikers and orv’s use it to make the mud release easier. Thought it would release the bugs easier also. The added benefit is that it completely hides my oxidation issue. I’ll report back in a couple months to let everyone know how long it holds up.

Restrung one of the pleated window shade coverings in our 2019 Jayco 264BHW. There are 4 pleated shade coverings and this is the 3rd one to restring.

It's a good skill to have. I've probably restrung every one of mine a half dozen times over the last 12 years. Nylon masons line is my blind repair friend, and a heck of a lot cheaper than buying the "official" restring kits.

Replaced the crumbling freshwater tank drain valve and blew out all the water lines to get it ready for winter. Felt strange while our temps are still in the mid-90s but we’re not going anywhere before winter and I’d rather take care of all this stuff now before the weather turns. I always hate this part of the season!

I winterized 2 days ago in 80* heat. Unfortunately I'm done for the year plus we have some unseasonably cold air coming this weekend. Sad day for me.

Blew out the water lines and pumped in the antifreeze today. All that's left is remove the battery, put in the Dri-Z-Air, and cover it up. One of our low point valves started to leak during the process, so it'll get new o-rings in the spring. I'll do both as long as I'm contorted on my stomach under the cabinet.

More winding down activities I'm afraid. Hauled it down to the rest area for what may be the final tank dumping/cleaning of this season. Not quite ready to say we are done but getting close. Also gave me an opportunity to test the replacement GPS tracker that I swapped in when we got back from our California trip last month. Working great - the geo-fencing properly notified me when I left the neighborhood and when I returned as well as the 10 minute tracking points while underway.

Boy, if yours are like mine, it is nearly impossible to push/pull them down there. Can’t imagine trying to replace o-rings. I can barely see the T handles to push/pull, let alone the valve body. That’s why I finally put a second set of valves on the pex lines under the trailer. Much easier to deal with!

Yeah, same floor plan after the bed. The hot side valve is the leaker. I've replaced the o-rings once before, and it is indeed a pain. I'm always afraid I'm going to drop the spring clip. Outside valves are a great idea. I'll check out the Sharkbite section next trip to the hardware store. That would save a lot of personal aches and pains. Thanks for the idea!

Absolutely! I got tired of mine occasionally not clicking totally closed and leaking. Figured it was cheap insurance. Ironically, Jayco included them as standard equipment on my model the very next year.

My thermostat is a simple heat only so I was going to buy the Honeywell everyone likes but found an Emerson in Amazons Warehouse cheap so went with that. Works fine.

I moved my new lithium ion battery off the tongue and into the storage compartment under the bed.
