Got my 100 amp Renogy Lithium out of bed in the basement and woke it up with a small load. Bluetooth read 40.3% charge vs. 43% when I stored it last Oct. Exactly what Renogy said would happen. Now to reinstall it and turn the 200 Watts of Renogy solar on and watch it back 100%!
Always nicer to do it on a sunny 68 degree day than in a hurry or rain.

Yep correct polarity. I have the negative hooked up and the + wire to the tongue jack which works fine. Also the 7 way powers up the tail, brake , back up, and signal lights. Have yet to look into the box attached to the front frame piece nor have I pulled the power( fuse ) panel yet to see if I had critter "squatters"!

I turned on the refrigerator yesterday, and we put two Easter pastichio casseroles, and lemon meringue ramekins into the refrigerator to stay chilled.

Swapped switches to the right spots

Before putting the battery back in, opened up the switch panel and swapped switch positions of the awning and slide, for some reason they put the slide switch closest to the awning and awning switch towards the slide. Not the most major thing, but always drove me crazy. Was actually pretty easy, took about 20 minutes.

Finally took the RV out for a spin after replacing the shocks and adding sumo springs.
I am very pleased.

Good luck! So, are you moving to something else, or taking a break from RVing?

Ordered new tires (4) for my 212QB, the current ones don't have enough life left for a 10,000 mile trip. Next is pull all four bearing sets and repack along with ensuring my brakes are up to the task.

It's been a busy three days since we got the unit back from service. New HW tank and found out the water pump had failed also. They found that the shackles had no bushings in them, so suspension work was done also. Since it's been home, put on new shoes, got the new 6v batteries installed, everything cleaned up, packed up and ready to hit the road in the morning!

Oh, also converted the queen bed in the kid's trailer to a king bed layout in-between!

Cleaned, lubed and adjusted the basement doors and locks. They get very dirty and dusty going down the road. Just doing a little PM.

I posted a video of it on our youtube channel:

We took our 5th wheel out for a 4 day trip to Pacific North Coast (Fort Bragg). We camped in the redwoods 3 miles from the coast.

We woke up on the second morning without any water pressure to the RV.
I assumed that the campsite water was shut off. After checking water at the hose, i knew that the water was still pressured. Investigating from source to RV, I noticed my water hose had a split in the middle of it. This was a new hose, and its first use. It lasted only 24 hours. This was a 25 foot hose, and I replaced it with a 50 foot hose of the same brand. The second hose worked just fine. Low temps were not below 40 deg. I am working through the warranty process now.

Another quirk. I have picked up a second water meter. DOES ANY ONE HAVE BRAND THAT MEASURES VOLUME CORRECTLY. I need to start a new thread on this subject alone.

Both gauges read correctly if it is unrestricted flow into a 5 gallon bucket. However if there is any back pressure on the outlet side (plugged into the RV) they read incorrect values. I filled my water tank from empty and reset the gauges to zero. One reads roughly 150% of actual gallons. The other reads 63% of actual gallons.

49 gallon water tank
A gauge reads 97.8 gallons
B gauge reade 31.6 gallons

A reliable gauge that is within +/-10% that doesn't cost an arm and a leg is all I am looking for.

Replaced dash speakers

I finally got around to replacing the factory speakers in the dash of my 2018.5 Seneca TS. Took out the factory Panasonics (surprised to see that they were brand-name and 2-way), put in some Kicker 46CSC54SKU's. They were Best of 2023 on Crutchfield, but I needed them today so it was Best Buy. The sound is improved and there is actually a *tiny* amount of audible bass. Next on the list is a sub under the passenger seat and also get my Build 5 Fab Console speakers hooked up.

Replaced wet bay faucet

Second project today. Thought it needed a separate post. I also replaced the faucet in the wet bay as it started to leak a lot last week on a trip. I suspect freeze damage. I replaced it with the exact same thing. It required loosening the Nautilus plate, as the mounting nuts overlap the opening on the bottom of the cutout. One-half turn at a time with a finger blindly poking up into very tight space. There are a LOT of threads on these.

Replaced all 4 tires with the same goodyears it had. I greased the bearings/suspension and adjusted the brakes. Noticed the right front making a rattling sound when it was spun. Took it apart and found the arm for the magnet has a ton of slop. Ordered a new brake assembly to replace it. Wonder if this is a common failure.
