Tried to fix the Mov-a-Bolt adjustment so the door would close "better"..apparently the Mov-a-Bolt was pulled to far inwards so that the latch would not get to second latch position now. Before, the door wouldn't close
to the second latch position. Will see how the wind noise is now. BUT, door
still does not close flush. However, comparing to other Entegra coaches it looks like that is how they design them ...??

Changed my water inlet valve for the ice maker on the whirlpool residential refrigerator. When I finally turned on the water after the winter I found the broken valve! I ordered one by the crossover number and it turned out to have the wrong water line connection at the slide lock! Mine has a 5/16 line and the one I received had a 1/4 line! Reordered and sent the other back! With the access door to the back of the refrigerator on the Jayco 330rsts made it easy to get to the part to change it!

Ordered a new C02/Propane detector. When they said "replace at 60 months", they were serious! Unit is 62 months old from mfg date. "Red Red/Green Green sqwauk"

Multi plane spin balance any auto tire shop can do. Hunter brand spin balancers are foolproof. Discount tire (depending where you are) has never failed to satisfy.

Flushed the antifreeze out, fixed a dripping low-point drain valve, started to put things back in for the season along with the Amazon goodies I couldn't live without, and the DW cleaned the inside of the windows.

Next is installing the battery.

Decided to do a little RV maintenance. First I checked the battery voltages. They've been disconnected since last November or December, and still read at 12.59 vdc. Fully charged they're 12.7 vdc, so only 0.10 loss isn't bad, sitting through the winter.

Hooked up a power cable to charge the batteries. Opened up all the windows and cranked on the bath exhaust fan to air it out. Looked around for leaks and other problems, only saw a couple of bugs, no dead mouse trapped mice either. Turned on the propane valve, fired up the stove burners, and turned the refrigerator on to exercise it, burn out the cobwebs, gas setting.

I'll put batteries in the thermostat later and fire up the furnace, let it run for 20 minutes or so. I can't run the cooling portion of the air conditioner with the long extension cord I'm using, but I'll run the AC blower motor for a while to exercise it too.

I need to wash the exterior to get the tree pollen off before it turns to cement and bonds with surface. I had to scrub the heck out of it last year to get the hardened pollen dust off.

Need to check the tire air pressures, too.

Maybe I'll take it out camping this year.

Maybe not.

Converted my 30 amp power cord to "Plug And Play".
It's nearly impossible to feed the power cord out of the bottom of the locker without first pulling it all out, then feeding it through the hole so you can shut the door.
I cut it off at about 3 feet and re-connected with a plug and socket that fits easily through the hole. Now the original cord is free to pull out, POKE BACK IN the hole from underneath and plug in.

Stowing is now much easier, instead of feeding back through the hole and blocking access as you poke it in you just unplug both ends, roll it up and store in the locker.

And for the quick trip to the dump station or the gas station when your coming back, Just unplug and leave it on the ground. No need to stow it.

De-winterized it, washed it and the awning, cleaned up the battery electrical connections and tried to park it back where it needed to be after some tree removal. Felt like a newby trying to park it. Outta practice, I guess.

Switched the fridge from gas to electric to make sure it works in that mode. Gas cools it down just fine!

I think mine cools better on propane than electric. At least it seems way.

I'm pretty sure mine does too. Since I haven't used my trailer in over a year I'm just operating all the systems to exercise them and make sure they still work. I'll probably let the fridge run for a week or so just to give the ammonia coolant a good workout.

I full timed in this TT for years, and always figured that the good luck I had with appliances not breaking down was due to using them all the time. Kind of hate just letting it sit idle like it has been for the last year.

Well...my experience, here in the Texas panhandle is when the weather gets cold, propane is the ONLY way to go. Both the Cherokee 5th wheel and Jayfeather dragger one with Dometic and one with Norcold, electric heating element failed when weather got below about 10 degrees. They just cannot keep up. Replacement element easy to install in the newer Norcold, and the Dometic had refrig unit replaced in 2014, but not the heater. (THAT was fun!) My son was living in the Jayco and fixed it by switching to propane. The Cherokee was unoccupied with fridge on and space heater warming interior. There wasn't much food in it but by the time we got to it, it was rank. BTW, Pirit hose will keep water flowing, no help for fridge.

Our Whirlpool stopped making ice this trip, wonder if that might be our issue

I have a 5 gallon water bottle under the island that supplies the ice maker! I have to refill it when it gets low! There is a switch on the end of the island and a switch inside the freezer! Also when I turn on the switch for the bottle pump, the water runs out under the rv and the pump continues to run! If the pump charges up and stops pumping it isn’t leaking! I would take the water line loose from the inlet valve, it is the brass nut with the water hose running to it and see if you are getting water through it! The check continuity’s at the plug. Once I turned on everything it too about 8 hours to dump my first tray of ice! Good luck! Learning as I go!
