Nice 5-month "warm" winter break, and still have to winterize prior to heading north...., may be a testament to how long this winter is hanging on!

Winter is hanging on much too long this year. I almost unhooked my external propane tank last weekend in preparation for moving to Florida for the summer. Then I checked the weather and we had a night at 34 degrees this past week. Hopefully this is the last one.

Today while DH modified the sewer hose coupling to suit him I modified the dinette to include a "pub table." I bought a 24" pine round from Lowes, stained it in Golden Oak and got 4 groutable self stick tiles in a sandstone to compliment the interior. Picked up an extra table base and:

I found some brown leatherette material at JoAnn's fabrics and a piece of 4" foam and used 3/4" plywood to make the seat extension across the back of the dinette.

Now it's a lovely spot to sit and enjoy morning coffee or seat a few friends for drinks.

I know many have posted about installing A/C Hard Start Kits. I first contacted Coleman (Airxcel RV Products) and they warned me not to use the Supco kit as it sends too much voltage to the compressor and long term use will cause damage and shorten the life of your A/C unit. See link for part # and easy step by step $25 mod.

I charged the deep cycle battery, dewinterized the water lines and p-traps, sanitized the water lines/plumbing system, did a thorough spring cleaning inside, washed and waxed the outside, checked the tire pressures and adjusted accordingly, checked the batteries in the flashlights, inventoried the contents, washed the indoor/outdoor carpeting and checked the propane system. Tomorrow I will try to get on top and check the roof. Happy Camping!!!

Very nice, first time I have seen this done. You may want to post a thread about this in the "Jayco mods" forum so others may see it.

Just wished I was camping, while I installed pics for the DW. Oh well, have to wait until May 2 to go out again.

Finished moving items from the pup to the trailer. Pup is now on craigslist. Hoping to get hybrid de winterized soon as our maiden voyage is May 15 and there is so much I need to learn by then.

Self taught myself how to adjust slides so i would not have to drive 1 1/2 hours one way to dealer. The rear side wall seal fit great at the bottom but was not even touching the slide wall at the top. 20 minutes and a 3/4 socket and all is good!!
