Pulled the cover off of the what seems to be an off-brand power tongue jack, the FIC-3500. I figured there would be a name or decal give some hints as to the maker - nope, nothing. Oh well....

My 1997 Jayco Econoline 250 Extended Club Wagon is in the shop for a topside A/C weather seal replacement. Small leak from the rain. Caught it early and I am hoping for the best. It's gonna cost me a chunk of change tho'.

CW had Wineguard Wingman on sale. I used an old gift card that had a small balance left on it and a $10.00 off coupon. So I spent a total of $1.04. After five minutes to install it, I would have to say it was one of the least expensive and useful upgrades I've done yet.

What is recommended for washing? Any particular brand? Have some black run off on a few spots, mostly from the gutter where pine neddles got backed up in. Could use a fresh water washdown now that we had it out this weekend to de-winterize it.

I used Dawn on the roof and Turtle Wax wash n wax on the walls. I made sure to wash down the walls immediately after I did the roof to ensure the Dawn didn't sit on the sidewalls.

Hooked up, pulled her home, and re-parked her in the driveway. Unloaded most of the goodies and will hopefully have time to wash and clean up some tomorrow after work.

Bought a 50-55 psi reducer at CW and got it on the hose, ready for our Thursday trip to Fool Hollow Lake State Park in AZ. Hung some lite weight pics for the DW (love those 3M Command strips) Kept thinking about installing my new Coleman-Mach digital thermostat sideways (not enough space horizontally). Also checked the torque on all the lug nuts and made sure I took a jack for the TT (just in case of a flat).

Today I installed LED lights on the awing canopy, cleaned the AC condenser and tightened the bolts securing the ac to the roof, sanitized the water system, and cleaned /organized the front cargo area. So ready to go camping! Next up is to upgrade the stock interior speakers to polk's. Still need to wash n wax exterior. Happy Camping!

Built a sliding shelf in the front storage area for grill and accessories, made outdoor carpet wraps for the stairs and made a mount for a T.V. to hang on existing grill mount. Oh and drained fresh water tank. (Took about 2 hrs to drain)

On Friday moved the camper from side of house to beside the driveway. Lined some shelves. Installed a key holder. Took down a coat holder that only had three hooks, took them off and filled the holes then sanded and repainted it. Put four command hooks on it and re-installed it. Put in a wine glass holder under the cabinet and now it will be going through the wash cycle since we have rain in the forecast for the next five days.

I just came back "home" and put the slides out after spending last night with friend in the area. Severe thunderstorms and tornado warning. Fortunately we got nothing more than a bit of straight line wind and rain.
All is well here.

Waiting on a replacement mattress, and shower slide hook replacement. Also the Clarion radio stopped working so the rv place is waiting to hear back from them.

Returned from our maiden voyage on Sunday, so finished up the unpacking yesterday. Tweaked a couple of my previous mods, and added LED puck lights on both sides of the medicine cabinet. (Should make for easier shaving.) Also added some 1-1/2" Styrofoam insulation to the walls & ceiling of the pass-thru storage compartment. Will add the same to the underside of the bed/storage area as time permits.

We finally had some sun this morning, I just couldn't stand it so I pulled the jayco out of the driveway and spent the morning setting the hitch up on the new truck. Decided to reinstall the TV and got that done just in time for lunch. Was thinking about de-winterizing until I saw the noon forecast for more snow this weekend. Guess the pink stuff will have to stay in awhile longer.

Completed my makeshift antenna for the cell phone booster.
I purchased a Zboost Soho YX545 and am using a telescoping painting pole affixed to the rear ladder to raise the antenna.
Even at home inside the trailer I'm getting about 1-2 extra bars so I'm pretty happy.

I replaced all the interior light bulbs with LEDs. I swapped the wiring to the converter and fridge (breakers) so that the fridge is on the same side (twin split 50 amp service) as my inverter so that I can run the fridge off the battery when not hooked up to 110 volt instead of propane. This also keeps the converter from trying to charge the batteries when I am using the inverter (feedback loop). The inverter runs all the dead ac items when not hooked up to ac power such as the TV and electrical outlets. The other side of the split service stays dead when the inverter is on and not hooked up to power this includes the second a/c unit, hot water tank, and now the converter. I use propane to drive the hot water and fridge when boondocking.
