Fixed annoying dinette access

My 24RBS has a minor but annoying flaw where the center section of the dinette extends under the side cushions, so to access it you need to remove all the cushions from the back and the sides - 8 total. So in the center, I added 1 1/2 x 1 1/2" wood pieces to each end of the supports, and cut off the same amount from each end of the plywood. Attached the little cut off plywood pieces on top of the wood pieces to keep things level. Now the plywood base is short enough that only the back cushions need to be removed to access the hatch.

Blew out the lines after camping this weekend. Expecting 32oF Friday. Should not be an issue, but I have no time to deal with it if the forecast is wrong.

Pulled the trailer out of winter storage and blew the dust off of it. Quick clean up and check for animal and water intrusion, all good. Checked seals and roof and dropped it off at the service center to do a propane check as it seemed to go through more propane than normal in the last half of the year last year.

Also measured up the passthrough to start building out my layout for the new solar devices. Getting closer!

Repaired Onan Generator wiring to coach....2004 Jayco Granite Ridge with factory installed Onan 4K gas generator. Went boondocking this past weekend and the Generator was NOT providing power to the coach. Checked EVERYTHING including the breaker on the Gen. Everything was on and should have worked just like it did last season. I didnt have a test meter with me to determine where the problem was. Got home & tested the feed wire coming from the Gen to the transfer switch located under the master bed. I had 120V between hot wire ( black ) to ground( green ) but did NOT have 120v between hot wire ( black) to neutral wire (white ). Ovbiously the neutral was disconnected somewhere. BUT WHERE ? The feed wire at the transfer switch is Orange, but the feed wire leaving the Gen was was obviously what ONAN provided - 3 loose 10 gauge wires ( THHN for those who know ) inside a sealed flexible tube. Clearly there was hidden connection point. The feed wire leaving the Gen routed up and thru a steel cross beam located just in front of the rear tires. Obviously heading towards the bed / transfer switch area.

I could shine a flashlight in the hole where the feed wire was passing through the beam and could see a forrest of wiring in there and could not imagine that there was no way to access it.

Looking over the rear tires on the Gen side of the RV I saw an angled panel in the wheel well with 4 screws at the top that looked like they had been removed at some point. I removed the top screws and was able to hinge the panel down towards the tires and LOW & BEHOLD, there was the connection point in an electrical box ( along with the fresh water tank and access to all that other wiring and tank connections ) I took the cover off the connection box and found that the wire nut holding the white neutrals together must have been installed so tightly that it broke some or most of the stranded wires coming from the Gen which caused it to overheat and fail. fortunately there was plenty of extra orange feed wire under there leading to the transfer switch so I could cut out the bad section, push fresh wire into the box and freshened up all 3 connections. I'm back in business.

Obviously this could have turned into a serious problem and I hope this helps someone else.

I would post an image but I dont have a URL for it. If anyone wants to see it for clarity, I'll email it to you.

Added Coleman Mach soft starts to all 3 A/C units. We don't boondock but occasionally stay in 30 amp spots and want the ability to to run 2 A/C's if needed. Also, want to be able to run all 3 units on those hot days without worrying about when the units cycle off/on.
