I made a bunk ladder out of the old ladder that came off the back of the camper on my 28dsbh white hawk. Click image for larger version

Today is check air pressure in 5'er tires and install wheel sensors. Lube slide rails, put a few gallons of fresh water in the tank (I emptied it two days ago), install new potty.

Tomorrow is travel day.

I resisted as long as I could.....but I found and installed a lightweight full-length mirror for the DW. I found it at the local Dollar General Store.....it weighs only 3#, its real glass (1/16"), it was $5......and the black trim matched our colors nicely.

I like the illusion of space it provides - and the DW is happy.

I attached it to the door with 1" (adhesive back) commercial velcro strips. I was skeptical....but as it turns out - I used WAY too much velcro tape. It ain't coming off easy....

I thought about adjusting the problem slide. That is as far as I got as the Jayco is 1400 miles away.

I drove to Panama City Beach today from my home base in central Alabama. I guess my Designer didn't want to stay home. It followed me all the way. No problems, pretty boring drive actually.

Edatlanta, where did you go to in PC. We have family there and camp in the area often. St. Andrews SP is one of the best in the area.

The DH replaced the tiny useless light on the power tongue jack with a brighter more useful LED, installed a battery disconnect switch and cleaned up all the wires by placing them in plastic conduit. He also replaced the bulbs in the light above the bed with a lower wattage. I always complained that the lights were too bright but now they are perfect. There is still enough light to read in bed without blinding me.

krsmitty, I am hosting at St. Andrews State Park. I will be here until 9-15-14 unless mother nature sends tropical storms knocking. I am on site C2, but you won't find it on the site map. It is one of three sites reserved for hosts. If you drive past site 158 and 159 go around the loop and it is the next site on the right.

Stop by for a cup if you are in the area.

Getting things together to clean the roof, then wash and wax the TT.
Also will hang some pics for the DW and just wish I was RVing somewhere but in the driveway.

Gave the roof a good scrubbing sealed a couple of spots that looked a little suspect. Now if the weather holds out I will start waxing tomorrow.

Today I finally added a second battery, between that and replacing all my bulbs with LEDs, we hopefully will have enough juice for our first boondocking trip.

Wow started waxing it today! The front cap and street side is done only another 800 feet to go at least it seams like it. Glad this is only a 1 or 2 time a year job!
