Actually I did this yesterday, but replacement of the assist handle foam grip was way past due.

"Velcro-ed" the dinette cushions to the wall. They were driving me crazy falling all the time...my OCD is thrilled that they stay in place now, unless I move them.

Waxed the TT with Protect All...really like that product. Installed the last 7 LED bulbs so it's now 100% LED with low heat and low battery drain.
The pack of 10 LEDs I got from China (thru Amazon) had 2 that didn't work so I now only have one backup replacement. Better than nuttin, huh?
Tomorrow I will install the 2 BAL lock-arm stabilizing bars to see if that helps the rockin'. (Anybody use these bars??) Maybe also put a second coat of Protect All on the front end to keep the bugs off, if I have enough beer left for that project.

Replaced the 2 faux leather swivel rockers in our White Hawk. We each like to relax in a decent chair, and those just didn't cut it. Found some very nice Lazy Boy leather recliners just the right size(27" wide) and color.

Applied some Geocel Pro-Flex sealant to a few places on the outside of the TT where the caulk had cracks in it. I also put some on the inside of the front bunk end where the sewn-in plastic molding had cracked where it clips over the aluminum channel piece around the opening. The only other remedy would be to replace the entire bunk end canvas so I'm going to try this first.

Where do you buy "Geocel Pro Flex sealant? Is it clear or White and do you clean up with water? Sounds like something I'm looking for.

Been meaning to do that for awhile now. Thanks for the reminder! I always forget about it till we're out camping. And I ordered a replacement/repair part for the awning that needs some fixin'.

A little envious. Might head there in a couple weeks. Which CG do you favor? Or are you dry camping somewhere?

Cheers,
Greg

We are staying at Cove Creek in Wears Valley. Quiet and away from the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg crazy traffic.

Moved our surge protector to inside of the rear storage compartment....won't have to worry about hooking it up anymore and no theft to worry about now

As soon as it gets past 8:00am (quiet time) I will turn off shore power and fire up my generator for a one hour run under load. It is quiet enough that no one would notice since I'm not that close to other sites, but it won't happen until after 8:00am anyway. I'm a host so I certainly don't want to get kicked out of here.

Thanks! Away from the hustle and bustle sounds like my kind of place.

Cheers!

Enjoying our first week long trip with our new Pinnacle. The foothills of the smokies are beautiful this time of year. The DW and I love this new Pinnacle.

1. Installed an LED awning light strip on the sidewall just below the channel. Got this one from bedledz.com, the RF remote receiver is built into the end of the strip and all I had to do was hookup to 12v. It was an easy, clean installation.
2. Installed several spring type broom clips to hold the various cranks, power adapters and of course the broom.
3. Reprogrammed the stupid remote for the third time, apparently whenever you disconnect the battery it loses it memory. Wonder if there is a battery gone bad on the circuit board. Anyone out there know if it has one?

Installed the hide a bed sofa that was supposed to be in the 2014 model we bought and returned the recliner sofa and $10 air mattress that Jayco thought would acceptable in the 2015 model. We'll have guests this weekend who won't be sleeping on the floor.

Wow. I own 2 Jayco TT's now! Just put down some "hold" money on a "newer" model than our current TT. Spending the day unloading all of our stuff out of the old one and prepping to clean it up to list it for sale. Anyone looking for a 27BH? [emoji6]
