Back to storage today But yesterday we got it all cleaned out, mopped the floor and put down some polish. She's all ready for our next adventure!

Started serious prep work. We leave Friday for our first long trip in our, new to us, X17C HTT. 17 days from Wisconsin to the Pacific via Glacier on the way out and Salt Lake on the return. Hopefully we'll have enough time but it all I could from that place that pays me to show up every morning.

Got her back home her a much needed bath - picked up a lot of dirt, and bugs, during our 3500 mile mid-west trip. Back to reality tomorrow...

In preparation for our fall trips - Packed the wheel bearings, Replaced the original Goodyear Marathons (4 yrs old) with Maxxis M8008 10 ply tires. Added Chrome valve stems. Tires were balanced. Then went to an alignment shop and had them aligned.

I figured out what the 'mystery switch' was for! 2 switches by the TT door with one turning on the interior ceiling lights. 1 didn't seem to turn anything on or off. I thought it might be for an exterior light, but nothing came on and the only light outside the door has an orange cover. Well, after reading someone else's post about how to turn on the outside lights, and them being told to check the bulb, I decided to do the same. I thought the outside light was just a running light. Low and behold, it was the bulb! I now have a 'porch light'! Now I have to figure out how to catch the rodent I discovered while I was up there. Opened up the vent opening for the overhead stove fan and got squeaked at!

Just poured my first cup of the day at a lakefront site in the rain. At least I've got coffee!

First rain storm came today and I ran out to hear the raindrops on the roof for the first time in this trailer. Music to my ears.

Both water filter cartridges are going to be changed this morning. The charcoal filter has been in service since February, but the 1 micron particulate filters don't last long in this park. The one in service right now is only 2 weeks old and is dark brown. This park has county water and it tastes fine, it just has a lot of particulate matter in it. I use a 1 micron charcoal filter also.

Update: Yep, charcoal filter was the culprit, but I replaced the particulate filter also. Water flow is now restored.
