Hi Bill, It's a 50 amp model, the MET-50A [URL="http://www.electricscooterparts.com/meters.html"]. We usually camp plugged in, but this summer we will do some boondocking. It's about time for a new battery, and I'm trying to determine how many amp hours we use before I buy the new one.

My tire covers came in today. When I got home, I put them on. I was worried about the fit, but they're OK.
I also applied one of the Jayco Owners decal on the front cap. It was getting dark, so no pics. I'll post a couple later.

x23b Dish Tailgater storage mod
I wanted a place to store my Dish Tailgater in my x23b. So today I moved the big cabinet shelf so I can store it inside, instead of in my truck. Just note the crossmember has a pocket screw on each side which is hidden by the pine support strip.
The cabinet is large enough but the shelf is in the way.
Gently pry up and remove the shelf.
Add new support strips ($4) and glue in place then nail down shelf. A 7" upper opening is just right for me.
Inside view, there is another screw that is hidden behind the 3/4" support bracket above the visible screw.

We store our 25BHS about 30 miles from our house (covered, affordable storage is not easy to find any nearer). Today I took the family to have lunch in the rv. I fired up the furnace and while the family was relaxing, I did a quick check that everything was in order, had lunch, changed the DampRid, shut everything down again and headed home. Be back in another few weeks. Looking forward to our first camping trip of the year - planning is in full swing.

Nothing but go get a propane tank refilled. Gonna be cold here in Quartzsite for the next few nights! Don't want to have to go out and switch tanks at 3AM. Done that too many times! And that's when it always runs out.

I took measurement to build a storage compartment on the street of the Toy Hauler. This will be installed below the floor level, in the lower aluminum fairing( indicated in the red outline). If this works out well, I'll most likely install another on the Curb side.
I also prepared the two Camco roof vent covers for installation. Didn't install them because dark-thirty caught me.

Added more storage in the bedroom on the drivers side. Used double sided tape on the drivers side wall to keep it in place. Drawers came from Walmart.

Changed all the 12 volt interior lighting to LED. Used inexpensive puck type 24 LED arrays from eBay. Not quite as bright as the halogens. For a total cost of $25 will give them a shot for the next couple of trips.

Did a little more organizing inside and in the process found some more wasted space. Noticed a little piece of paneling in the bottom cabinet under the stove, which was held securely in place by one screw
Took it out to see what was behind it, NOTHING! Actually the gas line comes in, but really, why is there so much wasted space in these things? Between that and removing the panel under the sink, I've seriously increased the storage by doing nothing more that removing 3 screws and a couple pieces of paneling.

I just replaced my water heater anode (Suburban). I checked it a year ago and it was hardly eroded. Now 16 months later (29 months total full time use) here it is.
It will be going into the trash shortly since a new one is now at work eroding away in my water heater.

My TalonZX has a Atwood WH with no Anode.
My 3 previous trailers had Suburban WH's and I'd replace them a around 18 months.

Didn't exactly work on the TT, but serviced my Honda generator. Changed oil, cleaned and oiled filters. Good for another three or four weeks. I used full synthetic oil the last time (for the first time) and it came out cleaner (less black) than when I was using conventional oil. Not sure if that's from less wear or from less thermal breakdown of the oil, but I think I'll stick with the syn oil.
