Dropped my Jayco off in Rockport Texas

Dropped my Jayco off for storage in Rockport Texas- spending three months there this winter. Then beat feet back to Northern Michigan to complete fall projects!

I replaced the toy bathroom faucet that Jayco installed and repaired the faulty TV cables installed by Jayco.

Re-sealed around the outdoor light fixture and outdoor speakers with Polyseal caulk. I've already touched up the rest of the sealant, but forgot about the speakers and light. My leftover sealant had hardened in the application tube, and I had to fight it a little to get it flowing again.

Replaced the strings in three of the day-night blinds in the TT. One broke this morning, so I figured while I was set up for blind repair I'd replace the worn out strings on all the blinds before they broke too.

TV Mounts

Installed two TV mounts, one in the dining area and one in the bedroom. Really glad I followed the advice here and used a stud finder to determine the exact location and size of the mounting board inside the wall. Half of the "mount TV here" sticker in the bedroom was above the top edge of the board.

This is my first "real" mod; it was tough to bring myself to drill that first hole!

We have had some temperature swings so I checked and aired the tires. Left and right were both down equally at 2 lbs. Spare was on the mark. Not bad!

Installed a Fantastic Fan in the bathroom replacing that 4" thingee that Jayco installed. Took more time than I thought due to so much sealant around the fan. Tried to be really careful but had a bonehead moment and penetrated the Alpha Ply roof while scraping off sealant. All fixed and working now....sure hope it doesn't leak much. Lol
Happy RVing
Jeff

Replaced handle to raise and lower antenna, replaced antenna head with a King Jack antenna and tried it out. After tuning the antenna and running the channel scan,I picked up a total of 41 channels, 22 of which were new, and out of the 41, 35 were viewable without any further antenna adjustment. Replacement was very easy with the included hardware, took about 20 mins.

Hopefully fixed one leak under the kitchen sink, and working on the leak in the BWT spray supply line (hoping it's the check valve gone bad). won't know until I hook water up again.

Gonna blow off the roof of the slide out,(dang, I need a slideout canopy) and tug her in. Refill a propane bottle, get a quick bike fix and head out to Cape Cod for the weekend. Let the rest of the folks head to New Hampshire and the foliage. Prefer to be away from the maddening crowd.
