Still waiting for the call to go down and pick up our new White Hawk but in the meantime we've picked up a new Equil-I-Zer hitch, new surge protector and outfitted the TV with a Mag Hy-Tech diff cover. We are SO ready for this!

We just switched over to that stuff based on the fitRV "scientific test" (http://youtu.be/-twQoVcZTaw) and DW LOVES it.

BTW, where do you get yours? DW was only able to find the "Ultra Plush". Works about the same from what I can tell, but I'd feel better to have the EXACT right one... I know the limits of my OCD, don't worry

Took the interior frame off the door window and getting ready to replace it with clear safety glass. Needs to be covered at night and I found this reflective cover made just for this window.

I got tired of the useless hooks in the bathroom. Replaced them with this.

Went to the storage yard yesterday to check on things, started the generator and charge the batteries a bit, wanting badly to take it to the gulf over New Years but will scrap that due to forcasted weather, oh well, maybe in a few more weeks

Made another batch of ice. Rescheduled our trip from this weekend to next, so may as well accumulate some ice for next weekend.

Ran the furnace for the first time this winter, must have some accumulation because I got some pretty bad stink. Will have to open it up and burn it off tomorrow.

Bath Sink Faucet - Enough

I finally had enough with my bath sink faucet.

The replacement is:

Kohler Devonshire Centerset Lavatory Faucet #393-N4-2BZ

It all went smoothly, but reuse the two castle nuts from the faucet removed. They have to be used to allow for the thin sink material. Do not try to use the new ones. They won't tighten up all the way, the old ones will.

Nice Ed.

Finally got tired of dealing with poor access points in various RV parks. Slow throughput and the access points need to be rebooted. So I found a system that has a directional output radio with an additional local wireless access. It took a little to setup but now I can point it directly at the base or main house and have a stable connection.

Jacked it up and put blocks under it so the weight is off the tires. Now Once spring hits I can try to figure out how the ez lube axles work.

Installed 1/4 round molding to the edges of the entertainment area shelves to create and edge stop.

Found some prefinished molding in my shed that matched the interior color pretty close, so I cut to length and glued/nailed them in place. Should assist the velcro strap keep the BluRay in place while traveling.

What Did You Do To Your Jayco TODAY?

Nothing actually. Bought some distilled water to maintain the battery. Also starting packing for our first trip of 2015. It's a ways off but my wife is anxious.....

I found a cheaper storage area, so I moved it to my house for maintenance which I needed to do anyway as I just got it. I added propane tanks, fitted new storage door latches which had deteriorated badly, a new tow vehicle plug as my old one was very bad shape and L turn signal not working. That was a bit teidous but I like doing electric and even soldered ends of the wires to make the plug fit on better. Tested and now have lights. I also reworked the battery connections on both sides, cutting off the aged and corroded quick crimp lugs for non-insulated heavy brass jobs and I heated up and soldered wire after crimping, then used heat shrink. I still have to mount my electric jack and plumb the propane, test the furnace, etc. Planning a trip soon.

Yesterday I filled one empty propane tank preparing to depart this morning for a 2 1/2 month host position. This will be my first time with the COE and my main purpose here is to heat with the park's electricity vs my propane. I will obviously have to heat with the furnace for those periods it is below freezing outside for any period or a lot below freezing. Most of the time I should not need the furnace at all.

I can afford the propane, but it will be a challenge to see if I can not use it much. I need a challenge.
