Just finished replacing the broken exterior skylight cover on my Jayco. The new part seems to be a little lighter gauge of plastic than the original one. Hopefully I'll get a few years out of this one. I should, since it cost almost $100 dollars. What a racket! Should cost no more than $20 or $30 in my opinion.
I did the job from my stepladder, that I set up in the bed of my truck. Worked out well that way. And I still have never set foot on my Jayco's roof. I plan to keep it that way.
I still have to install some of my second batch of LED lights. I have the bulbs and the dielectric grease ready to go. Next time I'm feeling frisky, I'll get that chore done too.

DH sanitized the fresh water tank and system. Put tire covers on the exposed wheels (one side is shaded by the slide out). We both got underneath it so he could show me the low drain points. It's got the glacier package so it was pretty clean underneath.

Today we attached a Maxx Air vent cover to the bathroom fan. It was fairly easy.

Opened her back up (except water) for the season. We aren't going out for another month or so (too much snow on the ground still), but have several mods I want to get started on. Felt good to be back out there again!

YESTERDAY (actually)
Following the inspiration of Rustic Eagle and others in our seasonal campground, I opened up the awning, mopped it with a solution of Spic-n-Span & bleach, then rolled it up to soak while I scrubbed off the roof with the same solution. Since my site has cable t.v., I leave the antennae down. Roof was pretty green under it, so gave that area a little extra attention. Once the roof was cleaned and rinsed, I reopened the awning, rinsed it, then left it out to dry.
Finally, I opened one more thing . . . a beer! Sat down in the zero-gravity lounge chair (with the dog in my lap) and admired my work.
Today, it's wash the dog and the truck!

Installed a second 10-pak of LED lamps in my TT yesterday. There are still 2 incandescant bulbs remaining, but since I rarely use those lights, they are staying as-is.
The new skylight cover has worked well, not leaking during the last 24 hours of rain. Next projects will be cleaning the underside of the bath exhaust vent cover, and washing the roof.

Started moving things around inside in preparation for leaving my host site this coming Tuesday am. It is always amazing to me how much you can spread out in a few months.

I'm installing a soft floor in the TT for Tunce and I hope it keeps her from slipping and it's softer on our feet also. It should make the floor feel warmer and quieter to walk on. The flooring comes in 2x2squares and it's 5/8" thick and easy to install with the exception of the bath entry piece but with a templet it won't be hard. It won't last the life of the TT but that's not why I bought it and I paid 140 for it and that's less than 3 weeks worth of my speciality beers. Now I'm still buying that 3 weeks worth!
I'm almost done with just the bath left and so far I've got less than 3 hours into it.

Drained the water lines and flushed them out, put the battery back in, bumped up the tire pressure to 50 lbs. and cleaned the awning in readiness for our Easter weekend get away (the maiden voyage).
I was looking around inside and for an 11 year old unit it is in really nice shape, there is only one cup hook in the wall next to the door for a calender and that's it. We get to decide where the new holes for paper towel holder and such will go

Added a second battery.
I added a deep cycle group 24 battery. Plus a battery disconnect switch . Our last trailer came from the factory with a disconnect switch. This is too disconnect the batteries during long storage.

I took it to the dealer to have them adjust the hitch for my new truck they filled the propane tanks extensions on the tow chains and fix the door handle for free by replacing it.
