Since Phil got the early spring wrong, I unhooked my pressure reducer and hose from the outside faucet last night. It is 28 degrees here this morning. The fresh water tank is full so I'm good until it warms up later in this week.

I just changed both incoming water filters. The first one is the particulate filter and the second one is charcoal.

Took our new JayFlight 26RLS to the tire shop and had the wheels balanced. The highway drive home was noticeably more smooth than the hwy drive there. They should come balanced from the factory.

the snow has melted but everything is still frozen, went out and febrezed everything and wiped down the walls since there are foot prints all over ...my husband seems to think this may have occurred during the construction of the unit? ...granted it is a 2007 but it seems noone really used it...swept everything out shook out the rugs...put down my new rug i got and wiped down the floors, counter and sink in the kitchen. it looks wonderful!

Picked up our 2013 Jay Flight Swift SLX 154BH today. We had the axel flip installed: about $210 parts and labor. Installed 2 roof vent covers. Upgraded from Tekonsha Voyager to Prodigy 2 brake controller.
We bought the trailer in January and waited until it warmed up here to pick it up. We've been collecting stuff for months and today was the first move in day. Lots of fun.
The axel flip is great, especially on a small trailer like the 154BH. It gave us about 4". Now I feel much more comfortable.
This is our first trailer so we took it out for some back up practice. I'm going to need a lot more of that.

Installed door racks in the kitchen, move the toilet paper hanger from the backside of the door to the wall, Installed a bike rack, changed out all light bulbs to LEDs and measured for closet shelves and small shelves for next to the bed...to be continued.

Fabricated and installed a set of homemade wheel chocks to go between the dual axles. DW noticed a huge difference in the amount of movement or shimmy (or lack thereof now) in the trailer.

Gratz!!!! You'll be glad you did the axel flip. My only complaint with our 154bh was the low slung drain which doesn't leave adequate pitch to work well with most site hook-ups (or dump dollies).
Happy Camping

I got up after sleeping in a bit longer than normal and made myself a cup of coffee. I'm on cup #2 now.

Getting it ready for first trip of the year going to the BEACH for a week and weather looks like it will be nice in 60s t 70s for most of the week with just a small chance of rain. But I have a rain coat so no problem.

Just hooked up the 5th wheel for a quick shakedown cruise before our trip to the OBX late April.
Took the tire covers off, checked and added air in tires, shut all the cupboard doors, got rid of the humidity accumulators (whatever you call these things that get rid of humidity in the trailer).
Hitching up went really well until I realized we forgot to check the trailer lights :O
oupsy! need a checklist. I also took a short video of us pulling away
