We had a bit of snow yesterday morning, and later on I heard a faint "drip -- drip -- drip". I thought a faucet wasn't quite shut off, but when I checked it out I saw that water was dripping from the edge of the skylight over the tub (best place for a roof leak by far!). I assumed I'd find that the sealant was cracking but instead saw that the outer section of the skylight was broken! There was a 4" crack on the flat rim that lies against the roof.

Luckily I had some self-leveling sealant on hand. I must've used half of the tube on that little crack, so I'm pretty sure it won't leak again.

I may regret having done all of this today, but I was finally able to get my 5W from the storage lot. Upon getting home I greased the wheel bearings and then washed the roof. Still on a high from having my RV in the driveway I went ahead and washed/waxed the sidewalls. Whew! I'm gonna need a massage and a whirlpool tomorrow. Pass the aspirin, please!

Today was a busy day. I finally moved everything that I moved out of the old trailer in January into the new TT. I installed my maxxair vent, and a keyless entry. I highly recommend the keyless...works great and very easy to install!Click image for larger version

Water System is marinating 50PPM bleach water...................cant get the %^&$#**&#@ propane system purged (I think my regulator went bad over the winter)

......and I made this quick mount for my new water system. This way I can change the filter with resting anything in the dirt - and hopefully eliminate a lot of the dirt splash from the rain as well. SSSHWEEEEEET...

Always had problems with the Kitchen Holding tank dump valve, it has always been hard to operate and does not close all the way.

Had a Jayco Dealer look at it when they were doing a slide adjustment.
They said nothing was wrong and Jayco would not pay them under warranty to take it off and look at it.

Finally had some time today here in Texas with a nice concrete pad, so I took the valve off to inspect it.
What I found was what looked like large piece of plastic material from the manufacturing process that was stuck in the valve.
Cleaned it out, checked the valve for other debris, now the valve works fine.

Pulled the trailer out of my dad's shop, parked it beside his shop. To early to pull it home (10 minutes away) as we aren't going out until May 24.

my husband spent half the day cutting down tree branches and raking an area near our shed so we have a good place to store the TT in the spring/summer ...it was parked next to our house which made parking tight so we figured if we could put it over by the shed where noone parks it would be ideal...our good friend will let us store it at his house during the winter, he has a nice area with crushed stone he stores his TT and his FIL's TT ...so they can all have a pow wow there and clean them etc...Man Central lol the kids played in the camper all day today...locking themselves in the bathroom and wrestling with the memory foam mattress i got. who knew they would have so much fun and just in the driveway. I got some accessories and opened them and stored them away...Big Lots had some things i picked up, kitchen stuff, really small wastebasket etc... i need to go to Kmart i hear they have lot of things to buy for RVs and TTs...a few more months til we camp for the 1st time, we have 2 trips booked and another on standby hoping this warm weather is psyching everyone up!

Brought the 5er over to the S&B to load her up for the upcoming trip and decided not to go through with it. We never brought our old SOB to the house cuz it was too long to fit around the cul-de-sac but thought for sure this one would fit. It did fit around the street but our driveway has a slope and when it came time to put the chocks down and un-hook I could just see it run over the chocks and into the house. Took it back to the RV lot, which is not very convenient, but I'm much more calm now. The learning curve continues to get more horizontal the older I get

Worked on retro-fitting LP quick connections so that I can run my new Weber 120 Q grill off of the quick connect LP onboard the trailer. I was not happy with uneven heating of the Side Kick grill that came with a previous trailer. No excuses for poor grilling performance now!

Visited my TT at the dealer - the propane regulator is bad. Dealer was informed by Jayco that a bad batch of regulators are working their way out. Replaced under warranty.....sweet

Just dreaming of pulling it out of winter storage! We just had about 7” of fresh white stuff over the past few days, and they are talking more next week.
