I empties the catch bucket in my dehumidifier. Had about 3 quarts in it after a week. Living on the west coast is damp.

Stocked some beer in the fridge, never hurts to have some extra beer to drink...

A cabinet door I ordered came in to my dealer from Jayco. The price was reasonable ($35 finished - no hardware). I'm looking to install an access with door under the dinette bench. A standard upper cabinet door is a perfect fit.
Completion of the project will have to wait until the weather warms up....

I replaced my water heater anode. It had only been in service for 12 months, but full time and it looked pretty sad. I could have cleaned it up a bit and used it for another few months, but for the price of a new one - why bother.
I also rerouted my incoming fresh water hose to make it easier to hook and unhook from my two stage water filter when the weather gets cold so that I don't drip water in my basement. I have been putting this small task off for a while and it only took 5 minutes. I'm getting lazy I guess.

I washed a few windows and the back end of the trailer today. I have been meaning to do that for a couple of months now.

I installed a valterra fridge vent fan on my jayco23b. Fun to install and can't wait to see how it improves my cooling in the south Texas heat!

My potty started leaking down the water in it over a period of a few hours. I figured it was new gasket time and I do have the gasket, but really didn't want to have to change it if there was another option. In looking closer at the existing gasket I noticed a lot of lime build up around the bottom of the porcelain. Figuring what could it hurt, I put some CLR in the bowl night before last and while it did leak down over night, yesterday morning I hit the lime with a brush and what had not dissolved came right off. I then poured some liquid tank chemical, the purple stuff, in the bowl to possibly lubricate the gasket or whatever else that purple stuff is suppose to do (I don't use it at all and had several small bottles of samples in the basement).
This morning the liquid was still in the tank and after flushing the gasket appears to be "back to normal". The lime build up seems to have been the problem.
Now for another cup of coffee.

Replaced a couple more incandescents with LEDs. Finally got the color right for the G4 style bulbs above the sink and the dinette, now I just have to get the brightness figured out!
Also did some organizing of the storage compartments to get ready for the new Weber Q100! Put up some command hooks to hang some of the more infrequently used gear up and out of the way in the pass-through storage.
I'm working on a mod for the little cabinet that I call the "control center", where the water heater switches and tank gauges are. I'm going to put in a plunger switch and a small LED courtesy light so it comes on when you open the door. With all those switches in there, it's a pain to find the light switch in the dark!!

Purchased a new 44X19X19 inch heavy duty storage container with a full rear hinge and 2 latches and that you can place padlocks on from Central Tractor. At present, I just have a cheap tote on the cargo rack that I bungee to it. It holds things that I don't want to store else where like my sewer line holder, wood for under the jacks, a couple extra folding chairs and my outdoor mat and tarps. I am going to drill holes in the bottom and attach it directly to the cargo rack. The more that I keep at the TT rather than haul it down to it the better. Plus I can drive a small car the 250 miles down to it at 30 mpg, rather than the 15 mpg I get with my truck! The more I save on gas, the more I can camp. Of course, I have to take the truck down to get the new container there...but that's only once. Also bought a new beach cart at Sams Club. It has a built in cooler! Come on warm weather!!

Since it is the first of the month, I'm running my generator under load for my usual 1 hour/month. The outside temperature is in the mid-30's and the generator started first try and is working perfectly.

I wished mine a happy New Year and wished for better camping weather in 14. We had some lousy weather to deal with during many of our outings.

Cleaned off the roof that had 1.5-2 ft of snow and ice on it. I hate winter. Did I mention it's a balmy minus 22 celcius here today?

Wow, if we got that much snow and those temps here the whole world would stop, and a zombie apocalypse would likely ensue.

This is my biggest fear, just how much weight can the roof take. Have a Jay Feather Select x23j (Hybrid) Was up there once this winter and plan on being up there this weekend as we may be looking at a foot of light fluffy stuff. Not taking any chances, will be up there everytime it snows.

Lubricating
Finally got around to dry lubing my slide out and jack stand threads. Was wondering if there should be any other places I should lube. Was hitting any bolts and threads I came across, any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Emptied the dehumidifier bin again today. Thought only about 2.5 more months to go before we can camp again. After the Vegas nascar race we will uncover it when we get back and start to get it ready to go.

I unhooked my city water hose last night getting ready to go on internal water for a day or so. It is 23 degrees here right now, but my furnace is working perfectly so I'm nice and warm.

Have to go back to storage to visit the rig today. DW asks me this morning, "hey, do you think those gallons of drinking water I stowed under the bench will freeze and burst?"
Um, gee... I hope not. I completely forgot those were there. We keep a couple gallons of Ozarka drinking water on board in case the water where we're going is no good. Wouldn't be the end of the world, but sure would be an annoying mess!
Oh well, at least I get to go see my trailer!
