I refinished the table in the kitchen today. The factory finish was wearing off so I sanded lightly and applied two coats of Minwax Poly. Sallie has been oiling the wood before we head back to Idaho.

The Mrs and I spent about five hours yesterday removing all our stuff, cleaning, vacuuming, washing, etc. It's going to PPL today for an appraisal. Wish me luck.

What wax do you use to do your waxing?

I scheduled the PDI for 05/01. How do I control the excitement? It's getting worse with eash passing day.

Thinking about getting the ladder out and scrubbing the roof. I'm drinking my first beer of the day, so I'm not sure which way things will go -- cleaning the roof, drinking beer, or both.

Will update with my decision.

But first, I need to open a new beer...

Well I don't know if drinking beer and doing roof is a good combination bill lol .... As for me just got the two middle stabilizers installed on mine and am picking up water filter,90 degree hose connector, and pressure regulator, then have to install pump silencer kit .... Trying to get ready for the first time we will be somewhere with full hookups, I have never had city water connected to ours yet hope it doesn't leak

I had removed the strut piston from the door, was driving me nuts. But the wind would sometimes grab the door, I had an elastic strap to hold the door, and it would bang.

Added a rubber bumper to the door, problem fixed.

Update: Went ahead and scrubbed the roof clean. Paintinfool3, I limited my beer intake while doing the roof. Tunce-man, good idea about the chair, but I did it all standing on my ladder. If I fall to the ground, I'd rather fall from ladder height than roof top height.

After the roof, I got out my bucket and Maguires wash/wax soap and washed the all the tin on the trailer sides/front/back. More beer was flowing once my feet were firmly on the ground.

After washing the TT, I dumped the fresh water tanks and refilled them with fresh, chlorinated city water. I try to do that every month or so to make sure critters don't grow.

After filling the tanks, put away clean clothes (went to laundromat this AM), went to Fred Meyer and bought some fried chicken (and more beer, Haha!).

And now it's time to relax. I'm beat!

Right now I'm running on generator power. It was time for my monthly generator run. I run it under load for 1 hour every month. StaBil Marine formula in the gas and non-ethanol gas used. Total generator hours to date 223.

Made a stove cover with ideas from this forum and a bamboo cutting board DW had. The "chair rail" vinyl border was looking pretty shabby after 13 years so, I removed it at the entry way. Also TRIED to adjust entry door. Looks as if it had been pried open at sometime. Fit is much better now but still not perfect. If I get up enough nerve, I may try more "adjustment" in the future !!!LOL!! DW put up a new clock with thermometer and hygrometer. I like !
