Washed & ready!

Took delivery of our x18d last week. Spent this weekend transferring items from the 1995 pop up.

Washed it, UV coated it, found the handy battery disconnect the dealer forgot to tell us about.

I think we're ready! Now I just have to sell that pop up....

Loaded the hitch into the bed of the TV so we can hook up and go camping this weekend!

3-Wanted to swap out a Plug or two for one that has USB connections built into it. That is until I discovered Jayco uses it's own non standard ac socket in trailers. Now I need to figure out what to do. The existing plugs are mounted with screws that are top right, and bottom left. Normal house plugs have the mount screws dead centre top and bottom. Hmm.
Can you tell me more about this swivel mount?

Thanks,
Jeremy

Went to visit my trailer to see how it wintered....it was fine. Then look at several sites to pick its new home. More Shade and no longer facing south. Should make for a better experience this coming season.

Went camping over the weekend. I dewinterized and washed the roof down with Spic and Span concentrate but it didn't seem to do much except in an area that appeared to have standing water at one time. Maybe I had the Spic and Span too diluted. My awning is nasty....it's next.

Installed a pleated night shade over the front door, bought it from Ikea and it was less than $20.00.
I'll be changing out the door glass to a tinted clear maybe next week. It does not have the side strings that hang down like the other windows have and that gives it a much cleaner look.

We decorated the interior to make it a bit more "homey" and give it a pop of color. Love the 3M Velcro hanger. Worked great and looks beautiful!

Rigged up 6 swim rings and installed under my new slide awnings. Now let it rain, which it is supposed to do here for the next 10 days.

I got the other half washed today with the wash/wax solution... Do you guys recommend another coat of wax? If so what kind do you use? I also filled the FW tank to finish dewinterizing. Tested the water heater, and looks like all systems go!! 24 days until the maiden voyage!!

Picked it up from the dealer where it has been for miscellaneous warranty work. It will be parked at home just long enough to clean it, sanitize the water system, change the gennie oil, and reload our gear. Then we're heading out! Not sure where yet. Depends on the weather.

What kind of wax do you use? And is it fiberglass or aluminum?

Just finished the Jayco 198 RD TT where the manufacturer left off.........lol.
Heat distribution was poor. All the heat in one place where also the return air is, which doesn't make sense to me. So re-routed one duct to the front and place some insulation on the flex duct. While the nights are still -4C at least the heat is equal distributed and more protection for all the water lines. And also more space in the bottom cabinets. Also noticed the Propane bottle tray had two fasteners torque to far at the mfg. means stripped. So an couple of oversize bolts did do the job. So ready to pull out again on the 21st.

Drained the anti-freeze, getting ready for a clean and flush of the tanks. Our season spot opens in a couple weeks.
