Hooked up to my external 150 gallon propane tank until December 18 when I unhook and head to Fort Wilderness for a week with the grandchildren.

Dropped off the fifth wheel at a local repair shop because the fridge stopped cooling. Looks like it's needing a new cooling unit... the rig is four months old! Thankfully, it didn't quit on us until we were 100 miles from home on our return trip from Maine last month.

On the bright side, we found a spot nearby that took the unit in right away vs. late Oct or Nov as other shops in the area were quoting availability for.

Went outside to it, unlocked it, opened all the windows to allow the beautiful breeze we have today to flow through it. Have at least 2 more trips planed this season before it becomes the holiday guest house.

I sat behind the TT and panned through some dirt I got at the prospecting club mining claim. Haven't found any gold yet, but I will!

Today will be rehanging the large day/night shade on the curb side. It fell during my last trip back to my home base. The screws just pulled out. No damage to the shade. it is just a bear to get to to screw it back up. Fortunately I have a nephew to help hold it.

Picked it up from the dealer after having some minor warranty work done. Measuring it today for a cover. We store it in the back yard which has a few pine/cedar trees that can be messy this time of year.

Hubby fixed the crappy toilet paper holder (pun intended) Who attaches things to hollow doors and walls with 1" wood screws? Same issue with hand towel holder. Hung a clock in the dinette area and I started loading up for next weekends getaway with some food and clothing.

Sat outside in front of my TT under the awning, reading a book, swatting at gnats, and trying to endure the 97 degree heat. It will start cooling down next Saturday, and I can't wait.

Oh, and I hung up a hummingbird feeder yesterday evening on the corner of the awning. They found it this morning, so I enjoyed watching them as I read.

Filled a 7 gallon propane tank. Found that I used 5.5 gallons in 18 days, never using the furnace and cooking just a little on the range. When in the heat, the refrigerator sure uses a lot of propane!

Solved my gnat problem. Today I was reading and swatting, and decided to grab my new, 6 inch DC fan. I layed it on my chest so it blew across my face while my nose was buried in the book. Gnats don't have the wing power to land on my face anymore.

Cleaned the front end of the RV, pumped up the tires, got the kayak mounted on the ladder and installed the 5 star tune.
