Added a fan in the fridge, replaced the door latch that holds the door open with a stainless steel one after we broke several, added a blue tint to the light over the bed as it was way to bright. Then I put the hitch on the TV and tomorrow will pack it up for a weekend at the CG in St. Augustine, too bad they are calling for rain.

I looked lovingly at it as I came and went several times. Also cancelled a 3 week camping trip next week due to family illness. My FIL had a stroke last Sat. and it has put a crimp in our camping plans.

Hopefully not long term.

Found a water leak at the pump today. Turned out to be a failed strainer on the suction side of the pump. No visible damage, but the o-ring was very dry. Picked up a new one at the local camper store for $11. All fixed now. Filled propane tanks while I was out also.

What was the problem? I've rebuilt mine once, and now the internal check valve is leaking again. The pump cycles on momentarily every once in a while, during times that the water isn't ran from a faucet. Has to be the check valve because I've checked for water leaks several times, and there are none. I need to look into getting a replacement valve someday.

Just found it on Amazon for $10.50.

Busy day...

Marinco 30A conversion kit

1/2 inch nylon nipple, 1/2 to 3/8 supply line and straight water valve with 3/8 outlet equals easy to use hot water heater drain.

Over the last couple days I have ordered a battery monitor meter, 2 sets of LED backup lights and a 12 piece set of side marker/turn signal lamps for the side of the TT. There is a single side marker on each side as TT is over 30ft long, but I also want turn signals on the side for additional safety when changing lanes. All are coming from Hong Kong so it will be a while before they arrive. (Mid April). Next is a heavy duty wet bolt kit upgrade. Should be ordering that next week.
April will be a busy month getting these mods done.
Happy Camping

That's actually a pretty cool idea. I may try that

Busy Day, Part II

I replaced the dealer battery with a Duracell Ultra Marine Deep Cycle Group 31 battery for the storage lot and short trips.

And, we now have a Dometic 310 with Shark Bite shut-off valve.

I watched my husband try to level our 4212 Seismic Toy Hauler for 4 hours before leaving to buy jacks that will level it. Yay! I'm so excited to spend our vacation this way. Have a solution as how to solve the LCI Leveling system problem?? Please share! He says is has no guts! I substituted the word guts for a word that he used that was inappropriate.

I just got back from turning the fridge on at the storage unit. We load up and head out tomorrow to Lake Ray Roberts SP in Sanger, TX.

Went to double lake recreation area in coldspring. It's a federal park that's pretty close to us.

Brought her home from the first trip of 2016. Spent 8 days camping and went to Pigeon Forge Tennessee. Camped out in the Smoky Mountains... Had a wonderful time and made lots of memories...

Not sure what the issue is, I pulled the pump and ran it manually and it wouldn't pump water. I will pull it apart and check the diaphragm and see if it is leaking. If it is then I will replace it and have a spare.

Replaced mini fridge with 1 I can actually turn off when not in use. Cost me a $100 but I will use the old one as a cold beverage storage device in my garage.
