Began Phase II of the dewinterizing/servicing/cleaning tasks. Got it out of storage, got a State inspection, parked it in my driveway and just sat in it trying to decide what Phase III will be tomorrow. The DW came in and told me that it looked like the outside was fading (its not, it's just dirty and needs a coat of wax after a bath) so now I guess I know what Phase III will be....thanks, Dear.

BAL stabilizers

The SLX series, like my 145RB, comes with only one pair of jacks in the rear, so I had my dealer install another set in the front before delivery, last year. However, the trailer still moves a little, so I bought some BAL lock-arm stabilizing bars from Amazon ($73.87 with free shipping) to install on the front jacks. Cannot use on the rear jacks because the drain piping is in the way. They arrived today while I was working, so I installed them right after dinner. Installation proved to be easier for me than getting up from lying on the driveway at my age and shape.

I didn't flush the antifreeze from the pipes yet because we had a another hard freeze last night. Still, our first outing of the season will be coming soon.

Yesterday I ran all the gas out of my old Honda generator, drained the bowl, and squirted some oil into the the combustion chamber. It's good for storage for years now.

Today I removed both of my T105 batteries, washed them off with Dawn detergent, then baking soda/water. Dried them out, reconditioned them with my Xantrex charger, reinstalled into the box, cleaned all connectors and posts, attached the wiring and coated with battery terminal protective spray.

Water level was still good, and it's been 6 months since I've added any. These Trojan batteries don't lose much water.

Installed my new Adco Delux Windshield Screen on the Redhawk today. Ordered on Monday from Amazon and it arrived yesterday. Need to wash the MH and prep it for a long migration north to Cape Cod next week.

Didn't do anything to our Jayco, but found out today that our new camper has been built. Very excited. Now just waiting for it to be delivered to the dealer. So I'll be ordering some stuff for it (EMS and WDH).

Washed it today to remove all the bugs from the trip last week. Got my portable DirecTV satellite dish and assembled it. Going to try it out tomorrow and see if I can't get a signal before heading out next week.

Scrapped all the rust from the frame (all I could reach anyway), scuffed with scotch-brite, and applied a coat of rustoleum. If the rust comes back, its being scheduled for warranty. It should not be this bad after only a year and I don't live in a salty state.

Took off the JT Strong arm stabilizers, added X-choks to limit weight. We will see if it makes any difference, if not I know what I will be doing next weekend.

""Little Can;Not so much today, but over the last several weeks after getting new trailer I Installed holder case for my "Equalizer" bars when not in use""

That's a great idea for storing the bars! Did you make the case yourself or purchase it? I looked on the Equalizer web site and couldn't locate any thing like it. Just curious. TIA

I finally flushed the antifreeze from the water pipes, sanitized the water tank, hooked up the propane and tested the water heater.

Scrubbed the dirt off of the roof with Dawn dish detergent, then washed the sides, front and back with Maguire's one step wash and wax. It's been a year or two since my home's been pampered like this.

I hate to post this, but blew the water lines out because it was suppose to get below freezing last night!!! This is garbage!!! Lol

Also bought a set of side shelves for our Camp Chef Explorer 2 burner stove.

Removed my wife's big bag chair from the tt. She hadn't used it at all last year, so it was time to remove it.

Limit weight? Does that mean a new tv may be in the driveway???

Good luck if so.

John,

Glad to hear everyone was ok!!!!

Do you use regular wheel chocks also in addition to the X-chocks? If not, consider doing so. I remember reading the X-chocks "destructions" (I actually did! Lol) and they state the X-chocks shouldn't be used in place of regular wheel chocks. And not to raise or lower the rig with them installed as it can damage them.

Said "Hi" to it, as I drove past on the way to work. Only 36 degrees here this AM. Still waiting for a warm day to replace the skylight!

Yesterday, I assembled and tested my DirecTV tailgater dish for the Redhawk. Then, waxed and polished the entire exterior of the MH. Rain is forecasted for 3 of the next 4 days, so best get that done while I could.

Bill, What is the maximum pressure your Maxxis tires and rims are rated at? What load range are they? Why 66# and finally, are they 15" tires?

I'm just trying to sponge it all in.

Good luck if so.

I like to watch the weight capacities. The JT stabilizers weigh in around 42 pounds, the X-chocks are about 15 pounds which are supposed to equate the same result based on my research.

Funny you ask about a tv, I did install a new tv including articulating arm and DVD player (about 10-12 pounds).

Yesterday, I replaced all the exterior marker light bulbs with LED.
