new table top and drawers

Spent a week with my uncle in his wood shop building a new table top and a better storage system under our washer/dryer combo. Had the "dead" space since we removed the original washer and dryer and installed the combo unit in the top portion (works much better anyway).

You will wonder why it took you so long to get a power tongue jack!!!

For the battery switch location, check my mods link for my install. If you only have one battery, it will work. Not sure about your trailer, but both a group 27 box and 24 box won't fit on our trailer tongue.

I chose the back of the box to try to hide the switch a little.

Hanging in Assateague NP and see another X23B in my loop. My solar upgrade has been working great so far.

Installed the second 15K AC unit in the bedroom of our 338rets. Hardest part was getting the unit on the roof. Prewiring helped a lot. Added a bracket for the outside TV.

Pulled it from Chehalis to Cape Disappointment State Park, at the mouth of the Columbia River, near Ilwaco, WA. Lucked out and found a "first come, first served" site available. No hookups, but I'm used to dry camping, so it's not a problem. I'll check out the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center tomorrow.

I was asked to house for someone in Los Angeles for 3 weeks and while walking in the Silver Lake area I found this great tissue dispenser that's perfect for my TT. It's an under the cabinet mount.

Bill, I was in Astoria last month for 10 days sorry we didn't hook up but at least when I was at Fort George Brewery I had one for you.

Cleaned it out from a two week trip my wife and kids enjoyed (I got the last extended weekend); cleaned out and re-organized the storage compartments; fixed a pantry shelf, shelf above the sink and door hinge that failed; re-loaded for another 5 days camping starting tomorrow.

Sitting inside my TT right now, watching the rain drip off the awning, and feeling really happy that I'm not a tent camper.

Not raining at the moment, but it was this morning.

I agree!

BAL Lock Arm Stabilizers are worth every penny

Knocked out a few things today. First, I added Ruggids step covers to all six steps on our bunkhouse (both entries), then I installed towel rods in the bathroom in place of the cheesy, non-functional hooks, and my favorite mod of the day was installing four BAL Lock-arm stabilizers to our power stab jacks, front and rear. Coupled with x-chocks between the tires, these make a huge difference to the stability of the entire rig! Feels like it's sitting on a house foundation rather than stabilizer jacks. I strongly recommend these!

Ordered a new city water connection (check valve in the old one was leaking) and a new stove vent assembly for the outside of the TT. Once latch has broken off the vent, the other is very loose and doesn't hold on the road. I'm afraid I'll park it after a trip and find that the little door has blown off.

Replaced both incoming water filters. Particulate matter is much worse this summer in this park than in past years, but replacement filter cartridges is well worth it for me.

Last weekend I ordered the Norcold fridge door hinge upgrade and it arrived today. Took about 5 m8nutes to install it. (Used the right hand hinge). Had thought about ordering a kit for our Northern Lite Camper as well. Turns out the Camper has a left hand door swing so I was able to do the frig on that too. I am a happy camper!!
Happy Camping

I'm 3/4 done towing it for the day. Started at Cape Disappointment State Park, and now I'm at the northbound Toutle River rest area. In a bit I'll continue on up to the Scatter Creek Rest Area and spend the night there.

My Jayco is towing like crap with the new LT tires I got on my truck. I've tried higher pressures (recommended by some), and just dropped the pressures down. If it doesn't tow well, I'm going to take Discount Tire up on their offer to take back any tire for any reason, and if they take them, just go back to the "P" rated tires. The first two sets towed my TT beautifully. Why in the heck did I "upgrade"?!!!
