What did I do to my Jayco

Installed the Furrion Wireless Camera system on our Eagle HT today.
Paid $300 on E bay Installation went well although fishing the wires out and back in was a pain. But successful. Headed to Copper Harbor Mi. Sat morning just over 620 miles there gonna be the first long getaway this year. had a few weekends that were great though

Cody Wyoming

Just unloaded our TT after a trip to Cody, Wyoming. Had a great time at the Buffalo Bill Museum; took two days just to see everything in the five galleries. Dinner and a show in evening. Everything in our Jayco worked as designed. Drove thru Yellowstone NP going and also Grand Teton NP returning home. Even drove just a few feet from a forest fire. Learned that a 10%grade means we should not tow thru Teton Pass near Jackson Hole with our small truck.

One of our best vacations we've had was our trip to Yellowstone NP and the Grand Tetons..... absolutely beautiful!

Redecorating continued....

Finished the primer in my Jay Feather X23B. In addition, half the trailer has its first coat of paint and all the cabinet doors are finished. Two people...3 days. Painted the hinges and have new hardware for all the cabinets.
Ordered my roof and trim sealers and a cover for winter storage. In addition ordered Mouse-Free to coat the bottom. Will put in the new flooring when the painting is finished and hang new blinds and curtains. Still lots to do, but am excited about the transformation. Slipcover for couch and cushions will be the next project when all of the above is finished. Phew!

Changed the Onan Generator oil, changed batteries in the entry door keypad, checked the torque of the lug nuts and washed the RV.

Went to storage and walked around it. Kicked the tires. Checked the outside compartments. Put a coffee maker into the inside cabinet that was retired from the house. Covered the tongue jack with a weather cover.
Dreaming of hitting the road again. Not anytime soon!! High School marching band has taken priority on the weekends until November!!

Was going to get up on the roof and do some work on the AC. Was going to wash the coils, and do the insulation mod. But my son got sick and needed attention, so I only got to conduct an inspection of the roof seals. All is well (seemingly with my son as well LOL!). Some spots will need a touch up soon, but for now they're okay. I guess it's time to decide whether I want to seal everything up with Eternabond and not worry about it any more.

Tonight will be the long push to make ready for departure tomorrow. Have A LOT to do, so it's going to be another late night!

Put a strip of white duct tape on the hitch today so I can see the center of it better when backing up the TV.

DOH!!

Last night I filled the water tanks, bought groceries, topped off the tires, packed, hitched up, loaded up the bikes (topped off the air there too). I'm sure there's more I've forgotten. Doesn't seem like a lot, but I didn't get in and hit the showers until after 10:30; WAY past my weekday bedtime!

Had to tighten one of my AC bolts that unscrewed 3/8" from my last 4K mile trip. It's 6 years old now so a new gasket is in my future.

One of the supports for my fresh tank was unpainted and starting to rust so I primed and painted it along with about a dozen other spots.

Brought it home from our trip. Killed about a bazillion little butterflies. Changed the sheets, washed the towels, emptied the food, and installed the Norcold hinge retro-fit kit. It was so easy, I called my dad to verify I had done it right. He did his after he broke his door, and I just wanted to compare notes. Interestingly, he said that his empty door was so heavy it took 2 people to mount it. Mine was so light, I could hold it with a few fingers. Anyway, now I don't feel like I have to worry quite so much about loading the door down.

She's in dire need of a bath, so I hope I can get to that this week.
