Did the same tonight with ours. However I realized that I must have filled the Barker and didn't dump it last time around. So that dang thing must have sat in the sun, in the heat we have had, for the last month or so.
Needless to say, I'm not going to make that mistake again.

Picked up a new sensor from the post office from TST, in warranty. It was not responding when I left home a week ago and they shipped it to where I am now.

Added the anti-freeze, washed the exterior and did a quick roof inspection. It's ready for the cover which will be going on sometime in the next few days. Tomorrow we are hitting the local Fall RV show south of us in Tacoma to kick a few tires. Still a year or two off from an upgrade but the show is close so we'll take it in and have a good time. Much better than running around to a bunch of different dealers at this stage...

Switch
I have a switch in a cabinet, in my Talon 413T that not even the servicemen at Camping World have no idea what it goes to. I don't hear anything activating, no new lights come on, it's just a switch that is alone and unafraid. Anyone have any ideas what it may got to? I did not place it, camping world did not place it.

Opened all the low point drains, faucets and drained the water heater. Turned on the propane and plugged the electrical into the house. Will turn on the heater as we are looking at the potential for a hard freeze Sunday and Monday night. Not ready to winterize for a couple of weeks.

I am at Talladega volunteering this week and I replaced my 8 year old Trojan T-105's. One of them wasn't right and since I boondock here at Talladega I didn't need a bad battery. A few more months was probably possible, but after 8 years of fulltime use it was time. I like things to work when needed and not having to fix something in an emergency situation.
The first morning here the weather dropped to 48 degrees early in the morning so that was a good time to check out the furnace. It worked great.
Now off to put some gasoline in my generator tank. It won't make it through one more evening of TV.

Drove it 385 miles home from the dealership on day 1. Winterized for a couple weeks again after some shake down testing.

I will be leaving this morning (Monday) after being here since this past Tuesday. All we well after the rain on Wednesday. It was a great weather race weekend. I spend most of my time outside the oval, but do drive through it a lot during the course of my day hauling folks around on the ADA golf cart. I really don't like it on the inside during a race - too loud for me.
One thing that will start changing here tomorrow is they are digging a new tunnel across the track that will allow RV's/trucks, etc. access to the infield without having to cross the track at gate #9. The new tunnel is to be 100' wide with a 30' height max. They aren't boring under the track, they will dig it out and build up from there. Then resurface the new section. It will obviously be one big hole and is scheduled to be done before the spring 2019 race.
Now off to my volunteer camp hosting position for the next few months.

I heard about the new tunnel. The last time i went to the infield in a mottor home we went through a tunnel. It was a smaller rv and not like the million dollar ones out there so I guess that makes a difference. That will require a heck of a lot of diggin. Plus the upgrades to the infield and they'll be busy

Winterized on the weekend. Washed from the roof down, cleaned inside, blew out the water lines, filled up the Dri-Z-Airs and put on the cover. Earlier than normal but no more time for camping this year and good to have it done.

Being old and cripple I can't get under the fiver anymore so we did two things: Added a bumper mount for the spare tire, and made 6 10"x10"x6" blocks to put under the landing gear and leveling jacks. Now we don't have to touch the pins on any jack.

We named it the pirate because it cost a lot and it's been broke . Used it once and more stuff broke. We had a 2008 Montana that we called the ghost because the decals started peeling in 2011 and it was all white.
