Winterized the plumbing system yesterday, after returning the day before from the last camping trip of this season.

Hauled the truck and jayco through the concrete slurry that a dump truck unloaded onto the highway minutes ahead of us. 3 washes to get the truck clean and the dealer is still working on cleaning the trailer. The stabilizers, sewer pipe and underbody coated in cement. The dealer looked at it and replied "uhh, this might cost a bit to clean".

Cleaned and lubed the slide mechanisms prepatory to towing tomorrow to our winter park- Then I'll have time to repack the bays to create more storage space and eliminate some unneeded material- Good luck with that, huh? JMHO- DD

Added few items to inventory, a new no stick griddle and another set of Lynx leveler blocks. Also opened up the trailer and am airing it out.

Inside was cleaned and reorganized from ceiling to floor and fireplace to closet. Sure was fun.

Climbed up on roof to replace broken sewer vent cover- Found 2 small tears in rubber roof so I replaced the vent and gathered material to patch roof- Patched roof and retired to my recliner for a barley pop- That is a FULL days work- JHMO- DD

My water heater quit working on propane last night. It did this last year also. At least I know the procedure to get it working again. I'm sure it isn't the propane valve like it was last year. As soon as it gets daylight I'm going out to blow out the burner area and make sure the starter is sparking. At least it does work on electric so I still do have hot water.

A couple of quick blasts of air into the burner area and on the starter electrode and problem solved. Water is now heating on propane.

I am on my winter home base site with a 150 gallon external propane tank which is why I'm running my water heater and refrigerator on propane. It is cheaper than electricity for me.

Took my Pinnacle to the dealer today to have some minor warranty work done- a couple of slide seals need adjusting. I had previously winterized it. When the dealer is done the trailer goes to winter storage...bummer!!

Just looked at it in the yard and felt like crying, last campout canceled because of Sandy, no trips planned for awhile.
