removed the rug to find we got screwed in our new purchase because the bathroom floor is rotted out and black mold. Just wanted a little camper to sleep at my daughters house. Now I am going to have to do a major repair.

Spent yesterday de-winterizing the rig. We are going to spend a few nights in it while contractors are working in the stick and bricks. When putting city water back on, I left the pressure regulator off and saw some water running out from behind the utility panel. Checked pressure at 80psi. Pulled the back panels and found a couple of flex hose connections with slow drips coming off the water pump. I just put a metal band strap, 3 places and the leaks were stopped. No leaks at 60psi.
It gave me a good excuse to clean out the lower storage compartment.

Great solution. Your not the only one. I still have a bent rain gutter above the garage from a camper mishap 20 years ago.

Pulled trailer out of side yard. Checked tires, got propane to stove, opened up slide, had fans going to get fresh air in the trailer. Tried the A/C and it works. doing things now so that if I find something wrong I will have time to get it fixed.

Cold enough here to try the heater. It works. Checked Batterys and they are good. Checked Hot water heater and it works on both electric and propane.

Added a wire strap to keep the fridge side vent from hanging off the wires connected to the fan when it's removed. This allows for disconnecting the fan without stressing the wires if I need to completely remove the vent. The strap loops over a hook on the top inside wall.

tt did that fan come with your camper? Is it's function to pull air down from the top vent on the roof for cooling the unit? I like it.

The fan was part of the ARP Fridge Defend kit. When activated it pulls outside air into the vent and directs it up to help push the hot air out the roof vent. There is also a pair of small fans installed inside the fridge and aimed as the cooling fins to reduce the need for periodic defrosting and reduce pockets of warmer air due to lack of circulation. These are also controlled by the ARP Fridge Defend.

Just dropped by storage to check on it. Like Woodworker said, we’ve had too much rain here in GA! No leaks, no musty odor, everything looked good to go! Now I need to go north of ATL to inspect a truck bed for my body shop. That’s a whole other post for another thread!!
