Checked things after recent rains and took the batteries out of all the puck lights I have installed in various places over the last couple of years. Just realized I forgot the two in the cargo pass-through. Doh!

Opened it up, drained all the water from the water heater and low point drains, turned on the heater in anticipation of below freezing temps for the next few nights.

I did the same thing. Also added this little extension to make draining the water heater easier.

Put a spare tire under Little Sister. Used a BAL 28240 Retract-A-Spare. Had to do a little modification but it went in pretty well.

Drained the water heater and dumped the dehumidifier.
Brought in all 3 slides due to high winds forecasted.

Drained lines, blew out with air, put antifreeze in tanks and turned on heat. Going camping week after Christmas so no AF in water lines. I'll just keep heat running.

Had the RV winterized today. After a very hectic end of the year last year, we want to coast through the Christmas holidays so no plans until after the first of the year.

Blew out the lines an emptied fresh water tank last Sunday due to below freezing temps earlier this week. Now I'm goin to fill it all back up today for another trip to hunt club this weekend. At this point the dust/dirt is thick enough on the outside that the rains haven't washed it off. Good test for that pain in the a.. application of Rejex Wax I put on it back in the summer.

I field tested mine agaim. Stought camper but the tires suck, have no grip. Somethin about mud an wet Ga clay they don't like. Thinkin about some type of pto or somethin so I can lock in the hubs on the camper axle when I lock em in on the truck. 6 wheels pullin is better than 4!!
When you have to call a buddy to come pull your truck an camper out just so you can get to your camp spot, that my friends is boondocking.
I love my life, An what better way to spend a Friday evening than to drink cold beers an ponder just what the hell kind of price am I gonna pay for cleanin this up later.
Life's good!! Attachment 65996Attachment 65997

On Black Friday I bought the SmartPlug from TechnoRV at a great price. Today I installed the new receptacle on my RV and the new plug on my 50amp power cord. The install was easy and went better than I expected, thanks to watching numerous videos. It makes a very solid connection and am glad I made the switch.

I finally got around to replacing the exterior dump station light that was broken on our trip in late September. The old light was incandescent but the new one is LED - much brighter and less draw.

Woodworker.... get a dually with positive traction in the rear and limited slip in the front axle and you will have basically six tires pulling when you need them....I have that setup in my Ford because I have to cross a hay field for about 1/4 mile to get to the roadway....have not gotten stuck yet...knock on wood...lol....

Tightened the bolts on the A/C today and installed Sunfast's PUG Ears to simplify set up of the Pop Up Gizmos solar covers for the pop out bunks yesterday.
Previously, I replaced ceiling speakers with Alpine SPS-M601W and also replaced the Jensen AWM965 with the Jensen JWM22 for Bluetooth and HDMI pass-through. I have to say the factory speakers were awful and recent hum noise sealed their fate. Added an Amazon Fire Stick which works great when there is cell coverag.
Within the last two weeks, I installed a new fender skirt. Had installed five of the Carlisle Radial Trail HD Trailer Tires - 185/80R1.

Removed the deteriorated outdoor speakers with another set of Alpine SPS-M601W marine speakers. Had to use marine white 1" speaker ring spacers. They sound so much better.

Are the Alpines that much deeper? Is there a big difference in the magnet size?
