Removed a stuck SUSPA gas strut bed lifter from the right side of the bed...drilled out the holes a bit as they used very cheap lightweight particle board so the screws were pulled out when the bed was closed ()...filled the holes with wood glue and put 3/16" wood dowel pieces in the holes flush with the side.
Now waiting on gas strut to come in....
Repaired a couple of our self made window valence curtain legs that fell down while the windows were open a gust of wind came through...
Cleaning/organizing the basement now trying to decide how I am going to mount this MORryde power cable reel in the basement...

Washed it. Put eternabond tape on the roof seams and vent jacks. Then I waxed the darn thing ( yep the roof too ). Took 3 days of not working to darn hard. Upside of being retired, you don’t have to be in a hurry.

Replaced original ceiling fan with a Hunter fan that has STEEL blade brackets, tired of finding blades broken off and on the floor after a trip.
Added 90 degree steel reinforcement brackets on the pull out waste basket door, no more wiggle.

Replaced shower sprayer with Oxygenics one.
Installed screen door pull bar and realigned freezer fridge doors to latch properly.

Was the fan swinging and the blades making contact with the ceiling or were they just shaking loose? Had thought about installing a ceiling fan but that issue concerned me.

Original cheap fan was a hugger mount, no movement. The cheap cast zinc blade holders started breaking one by one from traveling on our horrible roads. I went from a 4 bladed fan to a 2 bladed fan after 1 broke, then when one of the 2 left broke it was time for a change. I did not want to buy and replace the same crappy blade holders. The replacement Hunter fan is outdoor rated and has decent stamped steel blade holders. No problems with it swinging and hitting anything as far as I know, but I do not ride back there. Last trip, no marks on ceiling or fan blades so I believe it's fine. But, if you don't already have a fan with a decent mounting box I might be concerned about 26# hanging from the ceiling bouncing down the roads.

Previously did all 3 of those also! Door grab bar and shower head are sooo much better.

Dewinterize and prep for our first trip next weekend (Canada Victoria Day - generally a week before your Memorial Day, but both start off the summer season). She's sitting out front with a tank full of bleach solution until tomorrow.

Made a discovery this afternoon! After years of cursing out Atwood about the stupid vent baffle that blocks the wrench for the drain plug, I actually put on my reading glasses (because I have to do that a lot more often these days) and discovered that the dang thing just snaps into place! A quick tug and it popped right off - I've been cursing at the damn thing for years now...

Best part of the day? So far I haven't found anything broken after the winter. Not sure that has ever happened. All of the appliances started. It's a Friday the 13th miracle! (Okay it's Saturday - maybe that's why I didn't get started yesterday).

Replaced the recalled propane regulator. Wasn't doing a 300 mile round trip to the dealer for a $30 part.

While flushing out the plumbing, the hot side knob in the shower just spun around from a stripped spline. Replaced it with one from the old bath sink faucet that matched it. Got one more "spare".

Did a draw down test on my batteries, posted results in MOD section. Just washed 3 sides of the rig. Replacing a torn bug screen on screen door. Dog had torn a hole in the old one last fall.

Replaced the rear camera mounting bracket. Broke the darn thing waxing the tt with the orbital buffer. That was kind of an expensive “ oops”, but E-Trailer had it in stock.

Got the unit out of winter storage and moved to summer storage, de-winterization done, checked all of the seals and blew out the fridge and hot water areas with compressed air (I noticed a few cobweb-looking things and wasn't taking chances). I've pulled all of the "crap" out of the front passthrough and will walk through that mess this coming weekend, making sure anything that looks old/expired is replaced, extension cords and hoses are in good shape and then start planning the few mods I want to do this year.

Jury-rigged my rear window blinds — the string snapped while trying to raise it. Time to try my hand at restringing when we get back home.

New bearings and suspension refresh…rear axle passenger side bearing showed signs of getting significantly hot. My guess is since both rear axle bearings showed signs of heat it was a direct result of somebody not Towing level for significant amount of miles.

Caulked around roof. Waterproofed a backup light that was full of condensation.

Over the last couple of days I finally got around to a number of items that needed done:

* Washed the roof with Dicor Rubber Roof Cleaner
* Applied Dicor Rubber Roof Protectant
* Washed the rest of the trailer
* Installed Oxygenics PowerFlow RV Shower Head
* Finished cleaning out the inside from the trip in late April

Should be all ready to go on the next outing in June.......
