Yesterday ( in the frick’en rain ) checked all appliances for proper function. Heater , water pump , water heater ( electric & propane ) , lights ( inside & outside ) , microwave/oven , air conditioner , refrigerator, kitchen/bath faucets , awning. Getting ready for a two week road trip up the northern coast ( California ). Still have to wash/wax , check tire pressure , propane tanks and battery water level if it would quit frick’en raining.

Opened up my unit, checked for rodent infestation, there was none. Hooked up my battery jump pack to check lights and other 12 volt powered items including the awning. All is well! Heading out to the Grand Canyon this year!!

At least washing it is easy — just squirt some RV car wash on it and leave it outside, right? I’m tempted to do that on my roof but know it will immediately make the sun come out!

I sealed the picture frame around the bedroom slides. Read about it on the Super C forum and went and checked mine. Yup, I had to re-seal the slides.

Posted a video of it on our youtube channel:

Took it in to the RV shop to have the bearings packed, wet bolts lubed, tires rotated, brakes and roof checked etc. All is good and worth the cost for piece of mind.

So that is on it's way and should arrive by the end of the week. Excellent customer service.
Exact same thing happened to me, except I epoxied it. Less than 10% of the threaded nipple had contact. Like the spray pattern but if it breaks again, in the trash it goes. Mine is four years old.

The replacement arrived today so we'll see if it can make it longer than one season. We really like the unit so it's unfortunate that it does appear to be lower quality. I hadn't thought about gluing it back in but will probably give that a try and hold on to the old one for a spare. Below is the picture I sent them that shows just how little adhesive was in contact with the top of the connector. That thin blue band is all there was.

Collapsed

In December after returning from trip to Oklahoma, while planting the TT under the carport, after uncoupling from the TV, went inside the TT and to the rear with only front stabilizers and tongue jack down. Wind was blowing pretty strong and when I got to rear of TT the nose raised up, and it rolled UPHILL...reverse!, against which I had not chocked. When it came down, psgr side front stabilizer collapsed and it came full rest on the left stabilizer with tongue jack three or so inches above pavement. Ordered two replacement stabilizers from E-Bay, swapped them second week of January after bout with China virus CV-19.
Last week went on "Bluebonnet Tour" of central Texas (800 miles south on TX 70, US 87 to South Llano River SP, north on US 377, US 84, US 83, US 287) and found new stabilizers far superior to the BAL units. Ordered two more, swapped them out today. Pro tip: the BAL frame has 7/16 inch holes pre drilled at all four corners that perfectly match widest spaced holes in mounting plates! New on the left, old on the right.

Who is the manufacturer of the new ones? They look beefier than the BAL ones you took off.

They weigh 4.5 lbs each more than the BAL's. Here's the listing. https://www.ebay.com/itm/303692273571

Just returned from our maiden 2023 trip down to Rockhound State Park, NM. Fairly uneventful with a few notable exceptions. One, the winds were clocked at 70 mph on the way down and for the first whole day on site. Rock and roll was the tune of the day!! Two, the glass in the entry door slid down by 3/4". Not sure this was wind caused. Just trailer age (2018). Ordered a new tinted window with shade that should be here Saturday. Sunday project. Three, our Airxcel thermostat gave up the ghost when my wife went to adjust it and noticed a static spark. (It's dry in New Mexico!) Long story short, no amount of jiggerering and adjusting would get it to work again. Ordered a new one; due on Sunday. Monday project. Hey it the new year! Gotta do something for excitement. No?

Pulled mine out of winter storage yesterday and started on the various spring maintenance items before we head out in a few weeks. I found all of the frame bolts loose again (time to put some Loctite on them); however, four of them won't tighten up. The bolt just spins. I think they loosened up so much, the head of the bolt is out of whatever is holding it in.

And then I found the water by the water pump/hot water tank. Started looking for intrusion, then realized that the tank has split by the water inlet. Checked to make sure that the plug had been taken out of the tank, and yep, that was all open. Not sure what happened there, but that needs to be fixed before we go away...

Everything else looks ok, more time to dig around tomorrow. And I have to put the new tires on it.

Hooked up battery and blew the 30A charging circuit fuse. Replaced and it blew again, haven't a clue on where to start looking. 2019 212 QB.

I finally found the source of our brake issue from late last season. A wire was zip tied so hard that it was pinched and the wire was just about worn through at the rear drivers side wheel. I only found it when I cut it off. You couldn't tell just by looking at it. There were only 4 strands of wire still making contact. Yikes!

This is the second failure of the brake wiring in 4 seasons. Just to be safe I replaced all the brake wires and put wire loom on them to give some added protection. Let's hope that does it.

I'm out of warranty with Jayco but I wonder if I'm still covered by the frame manufacturer or the axle manufacture as I think the brakes and wiring are installed prior to their arrival at Jayco. Does anyone know?

Not too much lately, but the season is just kicking off!!

Had a tire put on a rim I purchased off of eBay for a spare (and for the trailer as well).

The DH installed a couple of USB plugs in the dining area. Hopefully the bedroom is next .

Washed all of the linens and clothes that will live in the rig for the foreseeable future.

Starting to load up non-perishables.

Oh boy!!

Are you sure you connected the battery with the correct polarity? Last year, when picking up trailer from winter storage, I reversed pos and neg and blew the 30a fuse.
