Made my own Radius Carpeted steps for $10.00 and stuff I had in the garage.

Purchased 24"x 60" Black indoor-outdoor carpet with rubber backing from Home Depot for $10.00. Cut three of them at 19" long & put eight grommets in each. Folded it under step & zip tied them. Photos Below
Also working on placing a piece of tinted plexiglass in shower !!! will post photos after completed.

Finished loading it up - ready to roll early in the AM to Utah! Just in time as it looks like a few days of rain are showing up here.....

I have one too. It works great.

Word of caution for those with weak stomachs, let someone else do it for you. There is some nasty stuff down a shower drain.

Was able to get it relocated from our rental home to our newly purchased house. Now to get the power outlet installed so we can power it up here at home.

LOTS over the past week: Took out a wall, insulated the roof unit of the AC, installed a night light in the bathroom, got new sheets washed and installed, roof inspection, much more than I can remember!!

She desperately needs a bath, but I don't think it's going to happen before we leave on our next adventure. Good news is there's a guy at the CG that details RVs; perhaps I can get DW to part with a few dollars and hire it out!! Most likely, I'll be doing it when we get home though

Thumbs down Concealed Water Leaks

Bought a Moisture Meter from Amazon ($16.00) a while back and have discovered 2 areas 95 % plus readings. Cut a access hole in the one area as it is in the extreme bottom right hand corner of the front stowage compartment and found rotting wood. The other area is just below the curve at the bottom of the drivers side front bedroom window. Have caulked around the window and will give it some time to see if the moisture level drops.

We haul our 26FT Jay Flight TT with a Ford Expedition. Can't open the rear hatch when hooked up. I'll have to check out this mod. Still think there still won't be enough room to open the hatch but going to take some measurements.

Finally found the suspected a water leak. Last night, while preparing for this coming weekend.

The water valve for the toilet (Thetford 31684) has a crack in the housing. Somebody got a bit overzealous when the water inlet was spin-welded to the valve body.

I need new one, today or tomorrow.

Fixed the toilet. Water system ready to go.

Short shakedown run to and from the supermarket to provision it up for the upcoming weekend planned for this evening.

I haven't done it yet, but will as soon as it gets daylight. Time for new incoming water filters. It is time for both the particulate filter and charcoal filter. Both are .5 micron so they don't last that long, but I feel better with better filtration.

Yesterday, really. Took apart the dash looking for an elusive connection/hook-up for playing DVD's on the bedroom TV. NADA...there's nothing in there for using the rig's system for tv #2. So..will get a blue-ray player and a sound bar for the back tv,,as a precaution for me when the weather is awful and there is a "game" on the main tv!

Took in the car to have all the metal stuff done, will be picking tht up today and then these motorhome newbies will give it all a practice run,,,towing and all...

Took it for a trial run with the new tow to the supermarket and back. Stocked up on provisions for the upcoming weekend.
