...snip..."Ha ha! I never heard it called that. So when they put you in the ground, have you been winterized?[/QUOTE]"
I think that depends on the time of year...after September 21st, yes. Of course, of the DW decides to make me crispy, then they won't need the antifreeze.

Took out what we needed to bring home, cleaned it inside, winterized, loaded it with Snuggle fabric softener sheets (been using them in the RVs for years, so far so good), covered it and said good-bye for 5 months. Seems like it was just yesterday that we were eagerly awaiting delivery of our new Jayco to our seasonal site on Aoril 1. Where have the last 7 months gone?

I have been using fabric softeners for years. All my towels, sheets, blankets etc, I store in the Ziplock XL Big Bags and put in a couple of softener sheets in each bag and leave them in the camper. It keeps them fresh and ready to go when used again.

Sure hope it's something simple.
It was something simple. I like simple! I removed the access panel and found the strainer on the bottom of the pump fully clogged with debris / crud. A simple wash with a sprayer cleaned it and it works like new, maybe better.

This weekend:

Made a couple batches of ice, used the EZ-lube feature to grease all 4 hubs, changed the oil after break-in and tested out the new generator and cord (worked perfectly), loaded up some groceries, blew out the stove with compressed air (works A LOT better now), topped off all the propane tanks...

Sprayed the entire underside with Mouse-Free. It is winterized and will be heading to the dealer next week for some warranty repairs. Then its back home to load all the totes back in and park it out back under the car port for the long winter.

Changed the oil, cleaned the air filters- both of my Honda EU2000 generators yesterday. Also replaced the spark plug on my newest one. For some reason it seems to run a little rough at the low-speed setting. Plug was a little dirty, and I think it runs a little smoother with the new one.

Got home this afternoon after 5 days in North Georgia at a KOA (not too impressed with)campground near Lookout mountain. We had a great time. So now it was post trip clean up, resupply, and cover the T.T. for a couple of weeks---then we are off again.

This weekend we were watching two football games simultaneously. Tailgating at its best. One game on the tv inside and the other on another tv I have outside. Not wanting to mount a bracket on the exterior siding I came up with the idea of purchasing a swing arm tv mount and mounting it to the interior sidewall of my pass through storage. I'll install a 3/4 piece of plywood to the bed framing, stained and clear coated to match the color tones. It's actually just the small night stand part next to the bed. Then I can through bolt the bracket. The tv can store flat against the wall during transit only protruding 3" into the storage area. A padded strap will secure the tv from moving during transit. The Samsung tv is just big enough to swing out through the storage opening and turn towards where we hang. Ultimately I'd like to put a power outlet inside the storage area for the tv and DVD player. For that part of my project, I'll need to get inside the walls. I'm stoked. Thought I was going to be bored this weekend.

James Island County Park next to Charleston is outstanding. Certainly the nicest county park we've stayed at!

This morning my wash/wax guy will arrive to start the fall clean and wax. For what he charges I wouldn't consider doing it myself and with a bit of vertigo I'm not going up on the roof anyway. The roof will only require a simple wash since it is RV Flex Armor and not rubber. No caulking up there to check or replace.

Today is a sad, sad day. In about 30 minutes I will wash her roof, give her a good scrubbing both inside and out, fill her with the pink juice and put her winter blanket on...

Removed the portable dehumidifier, stowed the bike racks, loaded the fridge, checked air in all tires - which with a TPMS means turning it on and verifying all tires are correct pressure.

Also replaced a mini blind in my friends camper that fell apart.

That is exactly how I use my TPMS also. If they are all where they were the last time I checked them I figure they are good.
