I checked on how my solar panels on my trailer are doing.

Actually I did this a couple of days ago like I do the first of every month: run generator under load, switch refrig to propane for a few hours, water heater to propane for a load of laundry, then all back to shore power. No issues.

Finished the wiring for the solar suitcase - 20 feet of 10 awg. Hooked it up and all looks good. I have to say I'm very impressed with the Victron Energy devices. The simplicity of getting those up and running and working together is literally just a few mouse clicks in the VictronConnect app. That allows my SmartSolar MPPT charger to grab the battery temp from the sensor on my BMV-712 via a simple VE network.
Since my batteries are currently at 100% SOC I turned on the 12v tank heater to get a little load and see the panels put out some current:

Today I finally got around to de-winterizing and sanitizing/flushing the fresh water system. Next up is a small project to add a 12v accessory outlet with dual USB charge ports to the dinette in the slide-out. Currently there is only a 110 outlet.

Replaced the shackle bolt that the zerk fitting broke off of. Then greased all the remaining wet bolts, including the B&W hitch zerk. Then I hooked up and went for a drive to test out the new disk brakes...WOW...what a difference! I previously had my gain set at 9.5 and with the new disks I have it set at 5.5. So I just drove around aimlessly for 30-45 mins or so...I so badly wanted to go somewhere and do some camping!

I made a little ladder for my bunk beds. The kids are struggling with it as it’s basically a straight up climb but they’ll learn!

Brought ours home from it's winter hibernation barn today. It's parked in the driveway with no place to go . I'm not going to dewinterize or restock it until we know we can actually get out and use it this summer.

Added 12v accessory and dual USB Quick Charge outlets to the dinette in the slide-out. The 12v accessory is rated up to 120 watts. I spliced into the 12v for the dinette lighting under the slide-out and snaked the wires alongside the wire for the 110 outlet in the dinette as per the details in this blog post. I also included a 10 amp fuse and an On/Off button.

I had the GF check solar panels today. The furnace was running during the picture. BTW, Renogy is working on getting the temperature displayed in F rather than C.
I also had her throw the propane tanks in the camper. I bought the camper last fall and haven’t really tested the furnace in cold weather yet. It’s 23* and she said the furnace kept the camper very comfortable and actually shut off. The camper held the heat very well too.

Had some 1/2" foam insulation board leftover so I emptied the front pass-thru, pulled the back panel off and insulated the wall between the pass-thru and the master bedroom as well as the underside of the bedside shelves.

Took the trailer to my mother in laws driveway to de-winterize and make sure everything is operating as it should. It’s not moved or been opened up in 3.5 months, which is a long time for us. All worked fine. Tomorrow I’ll go back, grease the wet bolts and maybe top off my propane tanks.

Nothing but I'm thinking about buying a cover for it so it doesn't get beat to death by the sun this summer. I have this gnawing feeling that there's not going to be a lot of camping this season.

I’m hopeful that there will be plenty for me while doing a little social distancing. I have my spot.

Ordered replacement bearing/seal sets from Lippert.
I wasn't going to service the bearings until the end of this year, but, now that I have all this spare time at home, in which I'm not able to go camping....
I won't be sure until I take it all apart, but I'm pretty sure we haven't done enough miles to actually NEED to replace them, but I decided that, once I have everything in pieces anyway, why not just fit new ones?
At less than $20 a wheel, it's cheap peace of mind for the next couple of years, so I foresee a couple of greasy weekends ahead :-)

We're going to have lows in the mid to upper 20's for the next 3 nights so I re winterized it. Can't go camping anyway. Ugh.
