Winterized it and parked it, hopefully I will get out for another trip this year, but if not, it’s ready for cold weather

Wowsers! What an improvement!

If you change these out, beware, the glass may not be stuck to the frame as good as you think. Luckily I caught the window in mid air! Phew! Use a little bit of tape to hold it in. Put the tape right on the edge in the corners and it will be hidden when installed.

Picked them from Amazon.

I saw where it was easier to install with 2 people an I thought meh I can do this. Ended up gettin the wife to help because I almost dropped the glass. They are nice just wish you could adjust the shade without opening the door to get to it

Yeah, I did ask the DW to help as I was afraid of botching it up. Glad she was there! I caught that piece of glass just in time.

Right, the screen door is right in the way. But sure love the look, though. Happy trails!

Loaded up my hunting gear, loaded fridge, filled fresh water tank, loaded generator along with other essentials It's that time of yr again!

Really wish I had another option rather than living room floor for generator but truck is full with 4 wheeler an what not. That above battery/propane tanks rack isn't an option because I can't pick this Honda up an from what I hear using a rack on back bumper of Jayco is not an option without spending a lot money to beef it up. UGH

I did this earlier, and after watching several YouTube videos, I used a lot of tape to hold the glass in place.

As mentioned, the screen door is a bit of a pain, and the blind sometimes bunches up; however, being careful when sliding up solves that issue. However, the look from the outside, the ability to block light at night and the view from the inside more than make up for those.

I found a new never installed Curt friction sway control for $25.00 on facebook marketplace. I installed that yesterday. I do not need it most of the time, but the price was right.

Replaced the rock hard factory mattress with a foam one off Amazon. Waaaay softer for our old butts. Maybe be a bit too soft for me, but wifey likes it and it has to be a big improvement over the brick that it replaced. She ordered it in medium density, but it also comes in firm. Should work out fine for the several months we will be living in the RV while our home is being built in Arizona. It has outstanding reviews so we ordered one...

The weather finally was nice enough on the weekend for me to do the "Lucky Duck" caulk treatment for the front cap to try and keep the water out during transit.

I also made sure the stainless steel wool was still jammed in where I want it jammed!

Mounted a 20" Visio soundbar under the Furrion TV. Easy install and MUCH better sound than the crap speakers in the TV.

I hear people complain about the mattress that comes in the trailer, but I’ve never had an issue with mine. I’m not sure if different models come with different mattresses or if it’s just different preferences and tolerances.

I couldn't even give my original mattress to my niece to use as a dog bed - the dogs wouldn't sleep on it either. And it would hardly light when I burned it. Maybe they have improved the OEM ones since my rig was new.

Some manufacturers have optional mattresses. Our previous 2016 FR Wildcat had an optional Trump/Serta and it was amazing. When we traded it in for the used Jayco last December, they where supposed to swap out the mattresses but they forgot. Since I didn't realize it until I got home nearly 400 miles away, it was too late.

Getting ready to move to Arizona and live in it for several months there was no way we were going to sleep on that thing every night. I got my neighbor to help me swap in the new one and he took the original to put in his toy hauler. He's the type that will take anything free and I'm glad he did.

New Window in Door

A local RV place where I live is closing its doors and I scooped up a deal on this window kit. I preplanned the hell out of it because once you start cutting, there's no going back... I think it turned out awesome. Now we have more light in that 195RB door area and can see our friends knocking to come in for coffee!

Not sure why the pics are all sideways...?

Looks like you did a great job! I would have loved to have a window like that in our 195RB but by the time I got to thinking about it seriously we had already decided to trade in and up. Our new ORV has a frosted window in the door which does help let some more light in but I'm back to contemplating changing it out for something like this as I'd really like to be able to out the door before opening it.

Best I can tell, I pinned it at the campsite, but missed the hole(B&W). Was traveling backroads and then got a big bump once on the interstate. I didn’t know what happened. Thought that my transmission had dropped or something. Looked back and the trailer was with us but further back and much lower. It jumped the hitch, busted open the tailgate and then lodged itself on the tail gate. I used the panel inside to raise the front jacks enough to get it out of the tailgate and then pulled forward. Removed the tailgate and hooked up gain. Had to cut wires for the camera and lock. Painful.

Trailer has some scrapes on the front cap, a small divit in front cap corner, some spiderwebbing under that camp in a small area, and I lost one of the covers on the under cap light switches. Also, trailer brakes won’t work now. Sad day, but at the same time, no one died and we’re a deductible away from repair. Getting some banana pudding at Buccees now and trying to be positive.
