... tents, PUP, TT, MH. A common lifelong path for those of us like the great outdoors.

Once in a while we still tent camp. If we want to stop and camp somewhere and we have motel / lodge reservations at the destination, we tent camp along the way. I still enjoy it, but it takes longer to get going in the morning.

We pulled into a CG in Colorado a couple of years ago and a neighbor commented that we had our tent setup in less time than it took them to back into their site. I treated the comment as a compliment, but I wondered how long it took them to back in.

Tents, then a 93 Palomino PUP with the hard sides, then the Jayco 23B. I still like the experience of sleeping under canvas.

My error, the Prowler was a 1967, not a 95.

We started in tents and once in a while stayed in the Inlaws motor home. We then bought an 08 jayco 29bhs and this year upgraded to the 33bhts.

When we bought our first RV in the early 80s, we started with a used early 70s Lark Popup, then after a couple of years moved up to a newer used Palomino Popup.
We got our first TT a small single axle used Sunline which was then traded it in on a new Skyline Nomad TT.
After some water leak / damage issues with the Nomad we traded it on a new Sunnybrook TT in 96 which we had for 9 years, it was a great RV.
We sold the Sunnybrook TT in 2005 and bought our first 5th Wheel, a 2005 Jayco Eagle.
We sold the Eagle and bought our current Jayco Pinnacle in late 2011.

Tents since I was born. Then I got married. She didn't mind sleeping on an air mattress in a tent, it was the whole "no bathroom in the middle of the night" thing. Our first towable was a Rockwood Freedom pop-up with a cassette toilet. After that, a Thor Freedom Spirit TT, then a Flagstaff 829 FKSS, traded that in on our current Jayco. All have been good units.
