My father (RIP) occasionally called me Rascal, but I prefer my spelling.

There is actually an older thread on this topic, just has not been updated in awhile.

When I first registered at Pop Up Explorer about 10 years ago, we had just gotten back from one of our early camp outs in our first pop up. I am a graduate and big fan of The Ohio State University, so I wanted to be Buckeye something. My first couple ideas were already used, so I came up with Buckeye Hunter, because on that camp out whe had been hunting for Buckeyes with my then 10 month old son. I do hunt in the normal sense on occasion, but didn't even think about that until later. I have since used this on about 5-6 other sites since then. Go Bucks.

Scots ancestry, MacIntosh clan, and the proud former owner of a Mustang Mach 1, hence Mach1tosh.
