My first name is Michael, so getting 'mike' as a user name is tough.

On the leading edge of the divorce process, I moved out to a place where the mail delivery process was 'spotty' at best. So I rented post office box #837 in the village of Goshen.

So, it's a nearly-guaranteed-unique conglomeration of my name and one-time mailing address. I use it for my personal email and other forums.

Life is a Misadventure

Our trips are almost always plagued with misadventure. On one trip we were attacked by jellyfish, chased by a hurricane (twice), were present for the Washington earthquake (we were in the Dinosaur exhibit at Museum of Natural History) and had the transmission blow up on our truck 18 miles from the border.

We live the Griswald life... And love every minute of it! Wallyworld here we come!

Go to "Google" search "Shorty Cox Hollow", It will take you to a area in SE Okla. 40 years ago, I spent many hours hunting, fishing, and enjoying nature in that hollow.

Before I retired from the Corps, Nevada Gun 40 was my call sign. So I use it as my username and sign ins on things.

Last name is Sward - A number of years ago I joined a friends campfire later than most and an already drunken reveler announced my arrival as "Well, if it isn't Swardy-Mc-Sward-Sward!" I've been Swardy ever since.

Song by The Beatles "Mother Natures Son" kind of goes like "Born a poor young country boy, mother natures son" Quote in sig is from "Going Mobile" by The Who. Guess I'm really proving I'm an old Rock n Roller at heart. And I also want to say thanks and God bless to all the posters who served so I could sit at home and rock on!

Ive owned a small snow plowing business for many years now. Back in the early 00's I leased a truck that became more of a "play toy" than a work vehicle, so I named it PLOWTOY with a personalized plate I had for it. That plate (and truck) are long gone, but I still keep a personalized plate on my plow truck. Not sure a "handle" of GTPLOWD (get plowed) would be accepted at some of the sites I am a member of, so PLOWTOY it is ;-)
