Username

My username here is simple LangstraatBolte, it's just my hyphenated last name! Langstraat-Bolte! My username on all sites my whole life has always been friskypepper, it started when I was in high school and AIM became popular. Well as you can tell I would get a lot of hits from porn sites because of it, even though it was just my 2 cats names put together! Frisky and Pepper! So now I only use it for like website that people won't be seeing it, because I'm tried of people thinking it's dirty when it's not. My kitties Frisky and Pepper both died in 2012 right after my mom..... They were 19 and 18 years old....

Right around the time I started getting active in BBSs and online forums, I shot IDPA (defensive pistol) matches quite a bit. I had just obtained Sharpshooter classification. At the risk of not being unique, I decided to just strip the vowels, hence shrpshtr. Through time even that has gotten popular so I'm AKA sc_shrpshtr online.

Mine is so simple. I am a Grandma who lives in many acres of woods. It kinda let the parents know which grandma they were talking about. Love those little camping buddies.

My oldest child used to watch Transformers, and she would refer to one of the AutoBots as "Octopus Prime" rather than Optimus Prime. So I thought it would be a good name that wasn't taken.

back in the 70's when the peanut man decided we need a national speed limit at 55 mph, CB radios went crazy popular and everybody had one and had a "handle". I was 12 so I couldn't get a license so I just made one up. Pony express was my handle and KTC6806 was my number. Cant believe I still remember that number. Haven't recalled that in 40 years! Have used Pony Express for almost all my forums etc since "Mr Hienz" invented the internet

Pink mg

My real name is Mark Hendrickson. I think I was born loving anything with wheels, cars, hot rods, motorcycles...you get the drift.

Well when I was about 3 yrs old, our neighbor who worked at a foreign car dealer (there were not too many of these in 1953) would drive home in a different car every few days. My mother fell in love with one of them, a 1952 MG-TD.

One morning, immediately after hearing her say she loved that MG, I said to her, "Mommy, when I grow up, I'll buy you any kind of car you want." She quickly replied, "You can buy me a Pink MG."

In the late 90's, I actually built a VW based MG-TD replica. I got a NJ vanity plate that read: PINK MG. I've been using the handle Pink MG ever since.

Although it wasn't pink, Mom got to ride in it before she passed away, worrying only if it was going to mess up her fresh hair-do.

2 XX's

I worked a job for over 30 years that required you to be on a log while working. Each employee had to have a 2 letter initials to sign on with. I used XX. Thus with the spanish word for 2 being dos, my user name is dosxx or in english "Two XX"

Easy to remember!

XX
