what kind of portable grill do you use??

picking up our new 16xrb tomorrow and need a grill, what do you use and do you have any dislikes about it, i looked at the coleman road trip but read alot of reviews that the burners are to close the the grill, also looked at the weber q1000 , we have a weber genesis and love it but not sure how weber does with a small grill.

I have a Weber, think it's the q2000. Was called the babyQ200 when we bought it. It's the bigger of the two made now.

It is a Weber. Cost is a bit more but great quality. I bought the adapter hose for it so I can use a 20lbs+ bottle. For tailgating and camping it has been clutch.

I have a Weber Q100 (precursor to the 1000 you're looking at). So does my dad, and so does my FIL. We all love them. The ONLY thing I would consider changing about it is the built in regulator. I wish it were detachable so I could use my QC fitting on the trailer OR disposable bottles. It would be nice if you could switch freely back and forth. It's a small annoyance and there are work arounds, but otherwise, it's a GREAT little grill. Great power, great consistency, and it's a Weber, so you know the quality is there.

I have the Holland Companion. I love the grill. My only complaint is that it won't stay lit when it's windy out.

I finally broke down and spent the money on a quality grill this spring (actually it was the old BBQ that finally broke down). Anyway, I got myself a Weber and man that is a nice grill. Even heat over the entire grilling surface and a huge surface for a portable BBQ.

I think it was $249 on sale. All my previous portables cost about $24 (one tenth of a Weber) but I would replace them every second year and they never really did a great job. Very satisfied with this new grill. Worth the cost.

We use the Holland Companion also, especially for slow cooking since it is IR. We also have the bumper mount that came with our 33.5RETS if we want to cook anything fast. Do most all of our cooking outside.
