'57 Chevy 210 4 door. Straight 6, powerglide tranny, and vacuum wipers. We lived at the top of a hill. No wipers for 3/4 of a mile in the rain.

My fathers kindergarten teacher rammed the back end, and locked up the rear doors. Sold it for $300.

First one I bought on my own in 1974 was a 1969 Chevy Malibu with the 307. Dependable car that got me through college. First new car was a 1977 Mustang II fastback with a stick. Fun back then; embarrassing to think about now.

My first was a 1963 Chevy II Super Sport. White with red int. bucket seats 194 with a glide that had a factory floor shifter between the seats. Not a console an oval shaped pot metal plate PRNDL special.

I didn't buy my first one until the summer of 1971. It was a '67 Mercury Cougar - metallic blue with a black vinyl top (remember vinyl tops?), and a 289 under the hood. Basically, a Mustang with different sheet metal.

LOVED THAT CAR!!!

1950 Chrysler Windsor Club Coupe.

I was a teenager and my dad inherited it from one of his aunts in 1964. It had less than 15,000 miles on it. It was almost as old as I was at the time, very heavy, flathead six engine, Presto-Matic transmission (2 speed) with a clutch. It was slow, but for my first car I thought I had died and gone to heaven.

Also: AM only radio, manual windows, no power steering or brakes, and no a/c.

Mine was a 64 Corvair ...in Connecticut! Senior year of college and loved getting gas (24.9) and have the kid working if I’d like my water and oil checked!

75 Nova with no engine in 1979. My Dad and I installed a 350 truck engine with some go fast goodies. High compression heads, large cam, 4 barrel carb and intake, headers, etc.. Man that was fun at 16! Take a guess what my son and I did to his 2009 G8......

Ya'll had some pretty darn cool cars compared to mine! I had a 1988 Isuzu I-Mark 2-door hatch back. I called it the Flintstone car! I could put my feet thru the floorboard and it would go faster than stock!

You actually use the real answer? I make up something and store the answer in a secure password manager.

We had two at different times the Greenbrier vans and one Corvair car. I could replace the push rod tube O rings in my sleep.

Nothing is secure anymore. Couple of people in the security business said just give me a persons name and tell me what you want to know about them. They say it’s sad but what we do to feel secure just slows down the honest people.
