What's your proudest RV moment?

Similar to Crabman's thread earlier this year, "What's your most boneheaded RV moment?", I'd like to ask the following question:

What's your proudest RV moment?

We've just had another (hopefully great) season. Along the way, you may have had an opportunity to share a mod, tip, or trick with someone that really helped them out. Maybe you managed to back your camper into the most ridiculously tight spot. Or maybe you got somebody to laugh so hard they blew their beverage out of their nose.

Don't be shy. Feel free to brag, boast, and throw all modesty to the wind.

I'll start:

I just bought a 2011 X23b this season. It (like many other campers) lacks a master battery cutoff switch. I did my research on this forum (and others) and installed a cutoff on the battery box, and included a fused 2-pin flat dongle for accessory, and solar panel connection.

This weekend, some very experienced camping friends saw it and were all impressed. They wanted to know where I bought the parts, how I wired it, how much it cost, etc. It meant a lot considering I have always been the one copying ideas from them. This time, I was the one who got to do the bragging.

Probably after I finished installing two six volt batteries an wiring them up in series. All worked fine and has for over a year now. The only problem was there was no one around to see me smile. So I just smiled anyway and enjoyed it.

I guess mine would be when I towed home our new Jayco. It was a 430 mile trip from NY in a raging Northeaster. Wind, rain, snow, very heavy traffic in North Jersey, passing busses and semis, very high cross winds on the Delaware Memorial bridge. The trailer held tight behind my Chevy with no sway issues even though I did not have the hitch dialed in right yet. That was a good test drive! We stayed over one night just 30 miles from the dealer to try it out so we camped in our new trailer just hours after walk through, and days after rolling off the assembly line. Camped in it that next weekend too.

Probably all the oohs and ahs we get at night when I turn on the blue rope lights I spent hours installing along the frame next to the underbelly. The glow on the ground looks really cool at night.

Proudest moment was paying cash for a 2012 X23J. We had to wait an extra year to do it but we did it.

Probably taking the time to set up (entering the campground to fully set up) down from 45 minutes to just over 10.

A proud moment was when we paid cash for our 330RLTS. I think the dealer was looking forward to some finance kick back money on the sale.

We are camping in about a week I will snap a few pics. It is just a soft blue glow under the camper and steps.
