Met her at a city league softball game. Saw her in the stands and that was it. Married two months later. Had her with me for 39 years before she passed.

Montana boy in USN amphib force visited his mom who had moved to New Jersey. She was the kind who took off right after church and this other woman in the church was the kind who chases them down. Long story short, other woman had a daughter away at college. When she got home we went out, hit it off, got married 51 years ago and she just keeps amazing me more every day.

(Funny - couldn't help but ponder the difference between Montana and North Jersey - 7 times the size but Jersey had 21 times the population. Culture shock, but Jersey is a really nice place; just a whole lot different than the west.)

Fire Academy

I was a volunteer Firefighter/EMT with the local volunteer Fire Dept and also participated in their Fire Prevention activities. We went to the NYS Fire Academy for a Fire Prevention weekend. A woman was there that was an elementary school teacher and was promoting the NFPA's Risk Watch Program to her students and was at the weekend promoting the program to other districts. She heard me sing Shania Twain's 'I feel like a woman' on karaoke. She married me about 1.5 years later. That was almost 20 years ago.

The war was on and my classmate in the University was about to get married when his best man got called up to go overseas. At the last minute he asked me to fill in and one night he took me home to meet his parents. His sister was home from college so I met her too.

Her hair was up in curlers and she was wearing the rattiest housecoat I ever saw. Two days later at the wedding I saw her figure and flowing hair.

Last year's milestone was our fifty years together.

Where I met my wife

Met her at a skatingrink on June 17th , 1963 . It was her 16th birthday . We dated for two years and were married in July 1965 . We shared 53 awesome years together , full time rving for 22 years . I was supposed to spend the rest of my life with her , then I realized she spent all of her life with me . My Dee went home to be with Jesus on May 11, 2018 . I am still living the RV lifestyle .
Prayers and Blessings to each of you 🙏.

Pulled her over in our small town for not stopping at a flashing red light! She said I thought you only had to stop if someone was coming. No ticket written and she waited on me a couple nights later cause I knew where she worked and I went there on purpose! 45 yrs, 3 children, 10 grands and 2 Great grands!!

Met my wife in 6th grade. Started dating when we were juniors in high school, and married shortly after graduating high school. We'll be celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary in October this year.

I was a freshmen in college, got a job at a local McDonald's through a friend of mine. She was a junior in high school who also worked there, which is how we met. I drove her home one night after work and things took off from there. College didn't work out for me and I ended up in the Navy the following year. We married right before I left for boot camp, her senior year of high school, this year will be our 40th anniversary.

Totally agree...and no matter how we answer it it would be part of our "security question" answer. And been married for too many years (yep, year was one of the security questions).

Sorry you were unable to find the words to describe your experience like many have done so far with out giving names, dates etc. of their wonderful and sometimes humorous life changing experience. Hope you have a good day.

Totally agree. Unfortunately everyone on the internet is being tracked. And sold every day. Either from your cell phones, Google, Facebook, Instagram even your own ISP. Not trying to be too paranoid, which I'm not, but your data is being recorded and sold.
Once you get used to the idea that nothing on the internet is private, you are good to go.

Sure...and since DW is a retired Federal employee, her data was stolen not once but twice. No social media accounts - thank goodness. Not paranoid because we know what can happen but we can definitely take precautions, including two-step authentication.
