Where you met your better half for the first time.

Friend that had moved to another city invited me over after he had been there six months. Set me up with his girl friends room mate on a blind date. Married 9 months later. That was 1974. How time flies!

Went home for a weekend Liberty from the USN with a friend. We had gone there hoping to "Get Lucky". My mom insisted that we go to our church picnic before we did anything else....

Met this girl who had gone to the picnic with someone else, ended up taking her home. When I met up with my friend back at my house he asked how I'd made out. I told him I had just met my future wife. Got married a year later with her father's permission. That was 58 years ago.....

I met my wife at Burger King in 1984. To this day, she still "Has it Her Way"

My roommate met the best friend (I’ll call her “K”) of a female co-worker (I’ll call her “C”) and was smitten. He begged C to set up a date with K and was unaware that C had developed a thing for my roomie.
I know, it’s complicated.
The two girls put together THE PLAN. C agrees to set up a date for the roomie but he has to find a date for her so it’ll be a double. That’s where I enter the pic. Roomie tells me he’s set up this double and I’m going out with C and he’s with K. He promises she’s a great looker, interesting, blah, blah, blah.
Well he was right and I was having a nice evening when the 2 girls switched dates mid-dance. K and I dated for a couple of years and we married in ‘75.

So the short version is I met the future Bride on a blind double date with her best friend.

Met mine at work, Eastman Kodak in Rochester, NY. Kodak hired summer help for College students and credit was given depending on their position.
Never thought she would end up being my boss to this day!!!

The short answer... a meth lab.

I was on the Michigan State Police meth response team. I needed to kick a few doors in (legally) and needed a prosecutor to draft the search warrants to take before a judge for a signature. I ended up marrying the prosecutor. It makes for puzzled looks when I stay with the short answer.

I met my future wife in a college history class. I talked to her after class, was dating 3 months later, engaged about a year later, and married right out of college. We will be married for 20 years in October.

I met mine in college also. I was a senior giving tours around campus to new incoming freshman. She was in the group, flirted with me a little. I in turn called her jail bait and the rest is history.....lol

We didn't date specifically date right away. I was working 2 jobs at the time trying to pay for tuition and commuting to school. She was living on campus and I would often run in to her in the cafeteria or the little snack shop where I would go to do work between my classes. This went on for a little over 6 months before we finally went out on our first official date. We then dated for over 5 years before we got married.

Sorry but none of your business. This is often used as a password recovery security question.

This rates right behind ‘where do you store your firearms in the rv’

I respect your right not to name a certain place but as you see in other post others have just told about the event and did not name a location.
Hope you have a good day.

Met my bride in high school. She was a cheerleader and dating an acquaintance (wouldn't really call him much of a friend) of mine. She and the guy broke up and she started hitting on me. I brushed her off for a while, since she and my acquaintance has dated. She kept up calling me long enough that enough time passed that I didn't feel awkward about dating her.

Dated her from 17 years old to 24 years old. Married her as soon as I got a place of my own. Been married over 17 years now.

College in the 60s. Mini skirts and all. We have been married 57 years this month. She still fits in those mini skirts.

And yes these information questions do make you more susceptible to hacking.

In our office building. We worked in different departments. She asked me out. I said yes.
Six years later, I asked her to marry me. She said no, 4 times. The 5th time she said yes. That was 23 years ago. Life couldn't be any better.....

It was a Thursday night. I liked his pics. So I drove 50 miles to meet up. We met up again on Friday evening to have dinner and formally exchange names, and then repeat Thursday night. We got married 11 years later by signing paperwork at the courthouse because the institution of marriage to us is....paperwork.

We first met just over 19 years ago and are still together.

On leave (US Army) between training and Vietnam - blind date set up by my (then) sister in law (they worked together) A month later, via a letter to her, I proposed, she accepted and we were married on my leave between Vietnam and Germany. that was 50 years, 2 kids, multiple pets and two careers ago. PS: date was to/at a drive in theater.
