Whisky drinkers?

I saw the thread about beer drinking. How about those that like a little higher octane? What are you drinking? What do you like to take camping?

We did the Bourbon Trail last fall and really enjoyed it. Tonight it started with lemonade and Beam Honey. It tastes like a lemon drop candy. Then I switched to just Beam.

When we last went camping we had Beam, Beam Honey, Evan Williams Cherry, and Jacob's Ghost. That pretty much covers a lot of drink possibilities. This year I'll add Some Jack Daniels to the collection. I like Makers Mark but can't justify the price.

Well here's a single malt that I enjoy from time ta time. Just put 4 drops of water in it and NO ICE , swirl it around and inhale that aroma sit back and enjoy.
Good thing you brought it to my attention because I'm getting a little low!

What I drink at home - Jack Daniels
What I drink while camping - Jack Daniels
What I drink when I go out to eat - Jack Daniels
What I drink when we go on the town - Jack Daniels
What I drink since I gave up beer in 1979 - Jack Daniels

I guess there is an obvious pattern forming here....

For about $3 more you could buy Makers Mark and get a much better drink

Tennessee Fire will warm your belly. It's also good in apple cider.

You could not have said that any better. We must be related somehow.

Perfect recipe Tunce. I like Glenmorangie and Talisker as well.

There is a single malt they make in Nova Scotia that is exceptional, forgot the name though.

So it must have been very good!

We sampled some Jack Single Barrel at the distillery tour. That was really good. I've seen bottles priced at $50-$60 a bottle.

We have Bev Mo here in Bellingham so if I get time after work today I'll take a run over and check that one out.
Yes single malts can be $$$ but I must say " I sure do enjoy them "

No Jack or Beam for me; no to gin and/or wine also.

I like Canadian, Irish, AA, I forget the one sealed with red wax; actually most of them.
Then there is cheap vodka and spiced rum; Southern Comfort and Jagermeister.

Please steady the room now, so I can go pee.

Makers Mark here...at least in the winter. Absolute vodka with tonic, lemonade or whatever in the summer.

Recently experienced some Hendricks and ginger ale. Fantastic with no after effects.
